More comfortable than the Crowne Plaza next door but less food choice

Friendly service from check-in and porter. Room was comfortable and clean although a little dated style-wise. Walk in shower was good and unlike the Crowne Plaza hotel next door, I had hot water and could stand under the rainfall shower head (good to know if you are over 6’ tall). Bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast buffet has a live egg cooking station and they made a decent omelette. However the food selection for meat eaters is very limited - just processed chicken sausages and liver. Other food selection is ok. Coffee is filtered coffee only. Unfortunately the restaurants are not open in the evening (room service only) so I walked 5 minutes down the road to Cafe Aroma for a good evening meal. The front lobby is under renovation so the functioning hotel entrance is a makeshift steps and ramp on the side of the building. So.. if you are on a short stay this is a good choice but there may be better options.

After completing the room cleaning, Room Service left the main door wide open and unattended.

I experienced a serious issue, which I reported to the reception desk. However, they were unable to take any action at the time and stated that they would get back to me the next day. When I followed up the next day to inquire about the hotel management’s response to the incident, the reception desk had no information or update to provide.

Nice but the price is higher than the service

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located, but in need of more renovation and arrangement, price for service I think it's too much, outstanding and pleasant reception staff, waiting for the new hotel
