Beautiful!

Absolutely loved this hotel we can’t wait to come again! We could see the pyramid from our jacuzzi in our room which was cool. The staff were lovely and friendly, big shout out to Islam and Mohammad for their great customer service! It was kept clean the hotel, food was good they catered to our needs! Can’t fault the hotel, only annoying thing is there’s not much around it other than the Grand Egyptian museum.

Value for money hotel near museum and pyramids

Nice spacious clean room with tea and coffee. We stayed 3 nights dinner b&b but missed our first night dinner owing to a delay with our flight and had asked in advance if something could be set aside for us (some cold meat, bread and cheese perhaps). We were told this would be arranged but nothing was forthcoming on our arrival. However, we enjoyed an early breakfast on the terrace with a lot of sweet and savoury choices and decent coffee. Dinner was good, soup starter was delicious and mains were plentiful but just ok. The only downside for us was the hotel trying to charge us €25 for a taxi ride to the museum (this would be easy walking distance only for the need to cross a very busy road). We arranged an Uber for less than €2. We did fall into the trap of arranging an ‘excursion’ to the pyramids - don’t be fooled by this as it’s a taxi that simply drops you off at the ticket office and collects you 3 hours later. We we charged €70 when it realistically would cost about €10 each way in an Uber. We felt a bit conned tbh and really didn’t expect this from a hotel reception. We did get the driver to take us to a shop to buy some beer on our return trip so not all bad as there is a lovely rooftop terrace to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine and take in the view of the beautiful pyramids. I recommend guests take some Egyptian pounds as we had difficulty exchanging even small amounts at the hotel reception. Would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced stay close to the main sites of Giza.

Dirty and unsafe

We found this hotel to be very poor. It is located in an area you wouldn’t want to walk around alone. It’s a good location for the Pyramids and Museum but you still need to take taxis, so you might as well be in Cairo itself, not Giza. The online photos look great but the reality was dirt, rubbish and internal building works. No bar either!
I did however find the staff very nice.

Love them

Very good hotel
I like how they are taking care of a stray dog ; this is very civilized

Dirty, noisy and no hot water

Dirty hotel without with a 10 minute timer for hot water. The are is kind of rural, with roosters crowing at 4am, dogs barking and cats meowing. No way to sleep properly. I reported the hotwater and dirtiness to the front desk and they did nothing. It also smells to be close to the staples of cammels and horses that are kept for the pyramids, not a great place to sleep nearby. Stay away.
