Comfort with simplicity.

Convenient location. Coffee room overlooking the bay. Breakfast reasonably varied. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Pretty nice decoration, with picturesque motifs. Helpful and attentive staff. A good experience, overall.

Great Boutique Hotel

We only had one night and stayed as it was close to the airport. Our flight was earlier than their normal breakfast start time but they set up our table individually with a beautiful array of breakfast so we had breakfast and made our flight! Amazing service. The girls on reception helped us with choosing a restaurant, directions etc. The room was spacious and bed comfy and the view from our room was spectacular. Great stay.

Nicest Staff

I'm writing this review almost a year after my trip, but I ended up at the hotel after having to leave a terrible South American group tour. I was miserable when I arrived, I had lost my phone, and no one around spoke fluent English. Even with the language barrier, the staff realized I was upset and one of the staff members drove me to the store to help me buy a tablet so that I could communicate with the outside world. The kindness the staff showed me was the highlight of all of my time in South America.

Distinctly odd

We booked one overnight as we were flying from Foz do Iguacu to Joao Pessoa and could not make connections without this. The hotel is fairly near the airport and reasonably priced ... but the rom had an enormous bed (good), only one pillow each (poor), an enormous wardrobe (good), no coat hangers (strange), a whirlpool bath (good) which was switched off permanently (poor), a cafe (good), awful food (poor), extensive breakfast (good), really nice staff (good), and free wifi (good). Distinctly odd.

Great hotel close to the international airport

We decided to stay in this hotel since we had a flight in the next morning and it was the cheapest option of hotels around the airport. The hotel is just great!!! Very clean with very helpful and friendly staff. I am Brazilian though so I cannot say if the staff have good English or not. Our bedroom was huge overlooking the guanabara bay, so the view was spot on! Apart from all of this, which is already enough for me to give them a 5 star, the breakfast was amazing!!!! Bear in mind that they serve Brazilian breakfast which is continental. There was a huge selection of breads, fruits, fresh juices, yogurt and many cakes! All baked in the morning! Breakfast was truly amazing and it was the cherry on top! Unfortunately this hotel is very far from Rio's famous beaches like Copacabana and Ipanema so I only recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay close to the international airport, otherwise it's not worth it. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay again!
