Nice family hotel, perfect kitchen!

Hotel is very well located, walking distance from city center! Nice room with excellent, comfortable bed and great shower. Great place to stay when transiting. Our room with terrace was clean, in traditional old style, equipment is practice in good condition. Internet speed is stabil, TV signal excelent. Rich breakfast is tasty and fresh!

Great location and hospitality!

he food in the restaurant was very fresh and homemade, the service was fantastic. I highly recommend the Old House Family hotel for a weekend stay. Lovely people who were always ready to help. The best thing about it is the hospitality of the family that runs the hotel.

Great hospitality

The hotel has a great location . It is in the city center of Velingrad but on a very quite street. The room was of a good size and the bed was very comfortable.
The best thing about it is the hospitality of the family that runs the hotel. Lovely people who were always ready to help.
The food in the restaurant was very fresh and homemade, the service was fantastic.
I highly recommend the Old House Family hotel for a weekend stay.

Lovely people and lovely building.

I turned up here without booking in advance but the people here were happy to accommodate me. The building is tucked away off the main Street. It's a beautiful wooden building that is well maintained. It's in a safe quiet area and only a short walk away from the main places. Reassuringly close to a police station too but it makes no difference because it's very quiet. The family that run the place are lovely and friendly. The room was beautiful... the hot tub type thing in the bathroom was a bit confusing but I still managed to shower... it just took a bit of time for the hot water to come through. If it wasn't for the bathroom I'd give this 4 out of 5... Other than the bathroom it was lovely and I enjoyed staying here. Thank you very much for my stay.

Charming, quiet

A delightfully charming place. Excellent breakfast. Recommended for anyone who is not interested in the big hotels (or in paying their prices). IIRC we paid 60 BGN for two nights in August 2015.
But do bring your swimsuit, because there are several public and private swimming and/or spa attractions in town. About the only other attraction is the Lepinitsa Peshtera (cave) which is great but you must take a taxi to the end of a very rough road, and have the driver wait for you (about 50 leva for the taxi).
