Czech dishes, beers and wines are served at Marlin Hotel’s restaurant. There is also a bar and billiards. Breakfast is buffet style. Best trout ever

If you are looking for a good fish to eat, make sure not to miss out on their grilled trout. Prices are very fair. Cosy restaurant and friendly service. We will definitely return...also the beer is fantastic Thank you very much. Danke sehr Diki moz

Well worth a stay in this Hotel

This was a one night stop on our hiking trip and have to say what a nice choice this was. Some of us opted for a little hiking and a train and spent a wonderful morning on the terrace bar in nice sunshine. Dinner was also in the open air under cover where the staff were happy with our prolonged dinner and drinks.
Breakfast in the restaurant was well catered for with lots of choices. Would definitely stay here again.

Economical Engineer and Doctor

We (me, my partner and our little 1.5 year old son) found Wellness Hotel Malin on internet as we where looking for a place to spent Christmas. We arrived on December 23rd and came in to an empty restaurant that looked ok but totally empty. Coming up to the room I noted that the standard was from the mid 90, but it was clean. After the first dinner we both realized that we should not have booked half pension where dinners was included. On the 24th Christmas Eve, we had a nice breakfast and we went out for a wonderful tour in lovely weather. Coming back around 2 PM we where quite hungry and I was really looking forward for well deserved beer. I tried to access the hotel restaurant but it was only available for friends and family, I managed to walk into the hotel restaurant through the back door where the invited looked suspicious at me but at least they had the decency to serve me a beer but no lunch was possible. The Christmas dinner serving was between 6-8PM. We stayed for one hour, service and experience was not what I would expect for a Christmas evening. But the guy serving tried to do his best but unfortunately my partner was served raw fish and we did not order sushi. They had to cook the fish a second time so we where cheated on our joint Christmas dinner.
On the 25th, after a new wonderful tour we arrived back around 15.00 this time also the back door was closed to the restaurant, with a sign opened from 6PM! This time we expected this and had arranged a lunch somewhere else. But my question is why invite hosts to your hotel over Christmas when expectations on service and a nice experience are on top and at the same time not invest your time and energy to deliver? If you would have been honest and shared with us that you want to use your hotel restaurant for yourself and your friends and its therefore not available for hotel hosts from 10AM to 6 PM then you would have given us a chance to make a different choice.
This is not a place I will go back to and I think it's quite comic that its called a spa, wellness hotel. I have seen many hotels incl. spa and wellness hotels and this is not even close to be in the same league.

Velice špatný servis a pohostinství v restauraci!

Minulý týden jsem byl s rodinou pro roce v Nové Peci na dovolené. Byl naplánován pozdní oběd do Vaší restaurace Merlin, kam jsem se velice těšil na vyhlášenou rybu (byla v pořádku) a servis byl naprosto katastrofální - jedno z největších zklamání. Žena, černé vlasy, věk přibližně 50 let, která nás obsluhovala byla arogantní, absolutně bez klientského přístupu, nevhodné chování na pracovišti a taková osoba by měla, co nejdříve pracovat mimo restaurační služby nebo mezi hosty. Pan majitel či šéf této provozny by se jen divil, kdyby byl na našem místě a měl by okamžitě udělat proškolení zaměstnanců! Prosím, takovou obsluhu už nikdy!!

Ubytování a stravování

Vynikající stravování a ubytování. Hotel má vlastní sádky na čersté ryby, které jsou bohatě zastoupeny na jídelním lístku. Možnost úschovy kol. Pomoc personálu při závadě na přehazovačce s nalezením servisu. Nabídka zápůjčky jiného kola. Určitě se ještě někdy vrátíme, můžeme doporučit.
