I had a very nice stay at the Hotel. The staff at the reception was very attentive and friendly. The hotel is in a great location next to the Plaza central. Expectations are important when staying at this hotel. It is a great place for El Salvador and for the price and people are extremely nice. But the rooms are simple (but clean), with basic furnishings, the bathroom is decent but showers are cold (which is very common for El Salvador) and naturally the place is a bit noisy because of it's central location. If you are looking for an affordable place right next to the greatest sights in Santa Ana this place should work great.

ROACH Motel is an understatement. It would be a compliment.— bugs everywhere . this place was disgusting unfinished paint cracked walls exposed pipes
The hotel staff literally were completely useless and unhelpful I get there’s a language barrier, but completely ignoring me is crazy

The place is not clean, the reception seemed more like we were asking for free lodging, they never explained anything to us, we didn't have breakfast, very bad service, the bathroom is not sealed in the room, when you use it all the bad smells come out, the shower is dirty and smells very bad.

We need a room to stay a few hours for the midnight shuttle to the another destination. The place is badly neglected. It's a historical hotel in desperate need of renovation. The room we got was very basic, not to say obscure. We didn't have a warm water.
Well located right in the city centre, but be aware of street noise.

Disappointed

Disappointing Stay at Hotel Brunette – Not as Advertised
I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Hotel Brunette in Santa Ana, El Salvador was truly disappointing. The online images are completely misleading—what we saw in person was a far cry from what was advertised.
The room we were given was in poor condition. There was visible mold in the bathroom, no hot water, and no parking available. The room was right next to a busy street, and we couldn’t close the window because the air conditioning unit was blocking it—so we had to choose between noise or heat.
While the young woman who assisted us was kind and provided excellent customer service, unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our stay. The room itself was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.
