Beautiful Hotel ideally located but unkind staff

It is a very nice hotel ideally located near the Clock Tower. All tours of the city can be done on foot.
On the other hand, even though our room overlooked a small side street it was noisy.
The staff, whether at the reception or at breakfast is unpleasant: no effort, it seems to disturb receptionists.
Room itself pleasant
Interesting swimming pool but hammam broke down throughout our stay (8 nights)

The worst hospitality ever

In my 66 years I have been to many hotels around the world, the good, the bad and the ugly. The Ambassadori is a beautiful hotel, with lovely rooms and a great breakfast but that’s where it ends! Quite possibly the worst hospitality of any hotel that I have ever stayed in. Firstly, the check-in - we arrived, exhausted, at 11:30am after an overnight flight and, having sent two email enquiries about an early check in without response, was simply told that we should have booked the room for an extra day (@£200)! If we were arriving early. Not even offered a glass of water, a welcome drink or somewhere to freshen up. Not what you would expect from a supposedly top hotel!
As such we, sat and waited in the reception area where I promptly fell asleep. Oh dear!! The next thing, I was awoken by an aggressive concierge, pointing is finger at me saying “no sleep!!!!” So sorry, I was exhausted! We were eventually shown to our room which, I have to say was very nice. My other objection is having to pay an actual deposit rather than a preauthorisation on a credit card and then being told that you can’t put drinks, meals etc. against the room??? Why? I felt insulted as if I was going to abscond without paying.
Next the room - why only one wine glass, one straignt glass and oner teabag? There were two of us!!
Overall, the hotel has lovely rooms, great shower and a terrific breakfast. However, all of those positives were completely overshadowed by the most unfriendly inhospitable staff I have ever come across with the exception of Mari in the Mozaiko restaurant and the porter, David, in the hotel lobby, both of whom were delightful. The hotel really needs to train all of their staff to treat guests in a warm and friendly manner and not as though we are a hindrance. Finally, the wifi speed is dreadful.

As always a very nice hotel with one of the best locations. However compared to the previous times a room with no outside windows is not that nice.
But anyway i truly recommend this choice because the hotel provides most comfortable service.

Staying in the Ambasador Tbilisi Hotel
I've been asking the receptionist for a few days for a shoe spoon. It's useless only promised.
The photo shows what was brought after the 2-day deal. In a word, TERRIBLE.
Ordered charcho soup from the restaurant brought dyed water. That's too bad. That it's so dark.

Worst experience of my life

Worst experience dont come here tourists especially, thankfully i am local this was not surprise to me, if you think about relaxing and having chill time with your lover-no, loud music no place to sit in restaurant where it is chill you can only sit on terase which is cold, 0-10 staff 0-10 relax, only food is good and trust me you can find a lot better resort to stay at peace.
