Very basic

This is an older, perhaps 70+ year old, motel on a former main highway a couple miles out of town. GPS took me close, but not to the exact location. There is no sign so I had to drive by a couple times. Despite mention of WiFi and a waterpark there was no wifi (attempted on several devices) and the pool was probably filled in decades ago. The mattress was rock hard, and could use some sort of topper as it was hard to fall asleep. The room looks liked it had been remodeled a few years ago. I appreciated the refrigerator with freezer, and many tv channels. Some of the basics that every other motel has such as drink glasses, hangers etc were not provided. I’m not a big coffee drinker, but a cup is nice in the morning. There were no in room coffee makers or coffee in the lobby. Breakfast is not offered. There were no stores or restaurants nearby, mostly abandoned buildings, so there was nowhere to get coffee. You need to be careful in the parking lot since the same lane is used to enter and exit. As I pulled in a car was rapidly backing out all the way from the back of the lot. Other than the hard bed it was reasonably clean and okay for a quick overnight stop, but considering it was more expensive than I usually pay for a full feature modern hotel I thought it was overpriced.

The only reason I gave this hotel a one star is because there is no zero!!!!!!

This is the most DISGUSTING place we have ever stayed. The restroom doornob was missing. The sink was falling off the wall,there was mold in all the corners of the shower. The furniture was in dire need of replacing (drawers were falling off the guide rails. For a chair there was an office chair that the back was broken. The floor was so nasty that we would not take our shoes off.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disgust

This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. There were dead bead bugs on the beds, blood stains on the curtains, and only the lights in the bathroom worked. My friends were and I were so terrified that we ended up sleeping in shifts throughout the night. We had to make our own bedding out of what we had packed and used our jackets as blankets. The walls are disgustingly thing, and everything smelt of smoke. Hands down, the worst place I've ever stayed.

Beware!

This location is ideal for itinerant oil field workers. Is there a possibility that the photo on the internet was originally taken in 1947? The lack of electrical outlets in the bathroom prevents a lady from using a blow dryer or an other modern hair styling implements. Paint flaking off of the walls does not contribute to a romantic atmosphere. We bid adieu without regrets.

I know that the photos are too old. we need to get the new photos done. but the rooms are newely renovated. and also we are also working on the outlet in the bathroom.
why dont you come see us again with the discounted rate and see the difference.

Overpriced...

My husband and I stayed here after a large amount of rainfall flooded our travel trailer. We were there for a week. Rooms were ok not particularly clean. Our ac froze over several times and it wasn't that hot outside. Only one outlet available (unless you move furniture) and it was overloaded already with an extension cord not a power cord. Towels were stained. Walls were thin, I could hear our neighbor snoring every night. Owners always looked confused during any interactions with customers. Not greatest part of town. The price was too high in my opinion. Won't stay again unless forced to.
