The best place to stay in South Charlotte!

This is a gem of a hotel in a great location. Clean, modern rooms. Large TV, Good kitchen, Local options for food, beverage and shopping are all within a 5 to 10 minute drive or less. Uptown is about 20 minutes and Carowinds is also an easy 20 minute drive. Pool was fantastic and had a deep end, which is really nice for taller people like myself. Free EV charging station so if you rent an electric car you don't have to worry about finding a charging station. I really enjoyed my stay here and will be staying here every time that I am in Charlotte.

We’re glad the room layout, full kitchen, and big TV hit the mark, and it is great to hear you took advantage of the pool and the EV charging. The deep end is a favorite for our taller guests, so you are not alone there.
You summed up the area so well too. Having Rea Farms and Ballantyne close by, plus an easy drive to uptown and Carowinds, is exactly the balance we hope guests enjoy.

We stayed in a suite with a king-sized bed and it was very comfortable. Very good use of space. Overall, it lines up with my previous experience with Hyatt House, which was a good one.

Breakfast was basic like a Holiday Inn. Which was disappointing considering they used to be great with fresh omelette stations,etc.

Overnight on road trip

We checked in at midnight and the desk staff was very welcoming. Everything was spotless, beds were comfortable, plenty of room for all 4 adults to move around.

Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for four adults is exactly what we aim for, and it sounds like everything came together nicely. This was my second stay at Hyatt House and the room that we had was excellent. The free breakfast is very good and had a lot of things to choose from to eat. My only complaint is the lack of parking there. We went to visit family and got back late and there was no place for us to park. We had to park across the street in a parking spot that was for local businesse that was closed for the evening. When we stayed there before we did not have that problem. There were a bunch of spots there but they were for the apartment complex that's nearby. The front desk said if we park there we'll get towed. I'm very glad I asked the front desk about those spots. They have a "C" on them which I thought meant compact car parking. So I moved my car across the street.
