The Palm
My wife and I had stayed here several times. The office staff of Tammy, Dee, Al and Linn, so professional, accommodating, courteous and friendly. An example of this on one stay the air conditioner broke down, we reported it and headed to the beach. Told it will be taken care of, we returned from beach nice cool room. Very thankful for the young men that set up chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Angelo, Aaron and Richie are so accommodating on doing this. On many occasions people ask for two umbrellas and want them closer together, the guys redrill a hole and complete the move. There is more people that help with the Palm, Anita and Becky. Some others that I don’t know, but friendly, helpful and pleasant smiles. Unfortunately the Palm has been sold, all the people mentioned are still doing their jobs as a customer would expect. At this point their future is uncertain, so if thinking about a vacation or getaway, give the Palm a chance along with its people. Possibly could be your last opportunity to do so.

Beach days at The Palm
Perfect location. Highly recommend. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Tammy, Dee, Al, Lynn, Annita, Angelo, Aaron , Nate and the whole crew have made us feel like family. We are never ready for vacation to end and always look forward to the next visit. Thanks for making vacation ones we will always remember and cherish!

Great hotel and staff
Just completed another stay at the Palm, and had a great trip. We are returning again in a few weeks. The location can’t be beat, but it is the hotel staff who truly make the experience so much better. Everyone from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the beach crew are incredibly kind and friendly. Dee and Al at the front desk will answer any questions you have, Veronica in housekeeping always made sure we had a clean room and fresh towels to return to, and Angelo (and his beach crew) are genuinely the most personable guys you could meet. Angelo always has a smile on his face, and takes the time to chat and get to know the hotel guests. He also noticed an older gentleman with mobility issues trying to walk across the sand, and jumped right in to offer transport back to the road. These personal touches make this place feel like a home away from home.
My disclaimer - The hotel was recently sold to a corporation, and changes have already been made which increased fees (parking, daily hotel fee) that, in my opinion, truly don’t add overall value to the guests’ experience. I spoke to several other guests who already said they would not be returning as a result. I hope for a few things:
- That the new owners will complete an honest assessment and decide if they are just trying to make money, or if they are actually trying to retain loyal customers and hotel staff. Guests will stop returning if unnecessary fees continue to be added.
- That the new owners will respect the business itself as a historical institution in the community. This place holds a lot of memories for many people.
- That the new owners will respect and retain the staff who make this hotel so special. The time and attention they provide is what causes us to rebook multiple times per year. And now that fees have increased, I hope that means the staff benefit and receive the raises that they so deserve.

Not returning to palm pavilion
May 1-5 2026 Our 4th trip here and wow terrible experience. So many things were different from previous visits. Cigarette smoke at the main entrance and back entrance. Non stop. Only one chair in room. King room. Nowhere for me to sit since there were 2 of us. All rooms same thing.Only coffee/tea in lobby. Used to have muffins, etc. now a $25.00 admin parking fee! Police had to be called due to a crazy man beating down our door. No one answered the call for help at front desk. Tried multiple times. Finally they did. Recommended they carry a Mobil phone in future as posted in room to call for assistance. Sure! No longer good customer service. Cranky staff except housekeeping was over the top excellent room service and politeness. Give them a raise. Not returning to this hotel. No longer enjoyable. Do go visit Cafe Dua next door with excellent food, service and comfy atmosphere.

For the safety and comfort of our guests, that individual is no longer welcome at our hotel. During the incident, our front desk agent was actively assisting with the situation, which unfortunately delayed responses to incoming calls. We appreciate your kind words about our housekeeping team and will share your compliments with them. While we understand your disappointment, we hope you may have a change of heart and give us the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience on a future visit.

Palm Pavilion Clearwater Beach
Amazing place on Clearwater Beach. It's a smaller resort just off the strip. Quiet quaint and within walking distance of everything. We've been coming here for almost a decade and wouldn't stay anywhere else! Angelo and Ricky set up the beach chairs and umbrellas and they are the absolute best. Someone in our group had an injury and Angelo noticed he was struggling to carry his bag down to the beach. He immediately stopped and offered to take his belongings down for him! Super guys! Please don't change a thing! It's the people, atmosphere and personal touches like this that have us coming back year after year!
