Wonderful "Alpine INN", view, and breakfast

We stayed here to visit friends in Fraser, visit Winter Park and Grand Lake, as well as relax and get used to the altitude of 8,500 feet. I requested a room with no stairs. We were able to drive and unload right at Room 14 There was a beautiful view from the patio and partial view from the room. The bed and sheets were very nice. We have stayed in many B&Bs, but their breakfast was superb. You order the breakfast from a menu and the time. It is served fresh to you in the dining room. We did not use the indoor pool, but we did use the hot tub. It was clean and very comfortable. Cleanliness in the common areas was a 10/10. The hosts recommended Fontenot's seafood restaurant for dinner. It was excellent. I would highly recommend this INN.

Another Great Hideaway

We enjoyed yet another 2 week stay at Hideaway with Mike and Carla. The breakfasts are amazing and the room is quiet and comfortable. This was our 5th stay at Hideaway, and we have noted that there are quite a few repeat guests. If the skiing conditions aren't to your liking, the Fraser Tubing Hill is nearby and the Lodge has an indoor pool, hot tub, pool table, hundreds of movies and a library. After a day of skiing, don't miss out on the fresh baked cookies and a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. We'll be back again.

Well Deserves It Ongoing Good Reviews

A very pleasant and helpful couple who own / run the Lodge.
Our room was super clean and very comfortable. We had asked for a room accessible from the higher driveway, to make getting our large suitcases to the room's back door much easier to manage. The room then supplied had a microwave and a fridge.
Cookies fresh from the oven were supplied for afternoon tea.
Glorious Aspen foliage colour all around in the last week of Sept.
The supplied breakfast was also pleasing.
The lodge is a bit tricky to get to (with the final mile or so on well formed gravel) thus I would recommend noting the location’s Lat and Long = 39.94632 and -105.86605.

Hibernating in The Den

It was lovely and quiet - tucked away from the busy strip of Highway 40 with easy access to trails, restaurants, etc. Our hosts were friendly, mellow and welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with Mike. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy. It was a relaxing and much needed getaway from daily life in Denver.

What a gem of a find!

I booked this lodge with a friend because of the high ratings. The lodge is located about 4 miles from Fraser in the mountains in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The lodge is well cared for and very lovely. We sat outside on the huge deck and took advantage of corn hole, a swing, rocking chairs, and several hummingbird feeders with many birds. Our room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the bedding white and comfy and everything was clean. It was nice to wake up to seeing nature from our window. Our included breakfast the next morning was delicious. The owners suggested a nearby hike, which was gorgeous. I plan to come back with my husband. What a gem of a find!
