We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriott, the staff are nice, the place is clean. What i like the most is the location, there's so much place to eat and shop, the weekend market nearby is also great.

Wanted four weeks for business, they refused to show me a room

I stopped by as a business traveler planning a stay of about four weeks. Before booking something that long I asked if I could see a room first, since there are a few things I need to check in a room for medical reasons before staying a month. I offered to have someone from the staff come with me.
The answer was no. I was told it is a rule that rooms cannot be viewed. No manager came out. Nobody offered to walk me up, nobody offered photos of the actual room type, nobody offered to let me check in and switch or cancel if the room did not work. Just no.
I was not asking for a discount or an upgrade. Five minutes with a staff member present, before spending a month of nights here. For a hotel that sells itself to business travelers, that is a strange way to treat a long stay request.
If you need anything verified before booking, or you are planning an extended stay, expect zero flexibility. I booked my four weeks elsewhere.

We completely understand why, when considering a four-week stay, you would want to feel confident that the accommodations would meet your needs before making such a significant commitment. While we do have procedures regarding access to unoccupied guestrooms, our team should have handled your request with greater care, flexibility, and professionalism. At a minimum, we should have taken the time to understand your concerns, involved a manager, and explored what alternatives we could offer.
Simply saying “no” without attempting to find a solution does not reflect the level of hospitality we expect our guests to receive. We are addressing your feedback with our team so that future requests, particularly those involving extended stays or specific accommodation needs, are handled more thoughtfully.
We are very sorry that we lost the opportunity to welcome you for your extended stay, and we appreciate you bringing this experience to our attention.

Staff is off the hook amazing! All of them, from the front desk, to the housekeepers, to the valet to the Bistro!
On site parking was expensive since there was no other option that was not great, but they did take care of the car. Wish there was a prorated amount as we had to pay for a full day (one of the days) and we only had it in for 12 hours.

There were smoking at the entrance of the building the entire time I was there. Our entire floor smelled of cigarette and marijuana it was sickening. I know for sure California is a nonsmoking state inside of hotels . My head was pounding the entire time! They didn’t clean our room or replace our towels yet I saw a person cleaning rooms on the same floor. At the end of our stay they held our bags. This is a nice property I just hated that smell throughout my stay.

There were no amenities.
The coffee was good at the café in the morning.
The valet Jose was friendly and helpful.
Location around the property was pretty rough
