Great Boutique hotel in St. Petersburg

This hotel has a great vibe. We stayed in March, 2026. We had a first floor room. The hotel has been redone nicely. The rooms are small, but they do make good use of the space. The bathroom is very cozy and our sink did make some gurgling noises. We did have a slight smell in our closet, which I didn't report until we checked out. But I did feel if I had reported it earlier, they would have dealt with it then. The pool area and pool bar were nice. There are open spaces on each floor. There is onsite parking which was nice. You can walk to downtown easily if you can walk a mile or so.

The room was smaller than anticipated but clean. Pool was very nice however didn’t care for the open pool party on Sunday! Outside of that great place to stay!

Clean room comfy bed. Happy hour was great nice selection of craft beers. Great bakery and coffee shop. Never had time for pool but it looked nice

Overall this was a good stay. I liked that there was a restaurant attached and a small coffee shop to grab and go. The front desk staff was super nice and inviting. A different staff member who I would rather not name was not very kind. In all my years of travel, I have truly never been to a hotel where a staff member was rude or obnoxious, The Hollander would be the first. Other than that, the rooms were a nice size, but I really think this hotel needs some cosmetic upgrades. I don't think the beauty of the lobby area and outdoor patio even remotely match the floors with the rooms on it. The hallways felt very dingy and the bathroom did as well, it was small and not functional for getting ready. The cleanliness I would give maybe a 6 or 7/10. The location was about a 0.5 mile from some main areas which made it easy to walk to. The hotel was entirely busy, so alot of people are certainly visiting and enjoying the space, but I honestly think there is so much more room for this hotel to flourish.

excellent service and a great room. took the scuttle to the ballgame. Had breakfast one day and the happy hour and specials were fantastic.
