Beautiful location, theme circus

What a nice and quirky hotel. Theme circus comes back everywhere. Accommodation is clean and tidy. Room is slightly small but the location (walking distance to Acropolis, bars and restaurants just steps) more than compensates for this. Absolutely recommended.

Stayed here two nights for my first ever solo trip and would recommend to everyone. I got a solo room which was clean and had just enough space. They had optional excursions, phenomenal location which is easily walkable to anywhere you would want to go. Lots of food within 5 minutes. Staff was great and held onto my luggage before check in and were always kind.

The staff were nice and helpful. They also had socialising and activities but as we were only there one night we didn’t go. The common areas were decorated with cool furniture and were quite spacious. The room had what we needed. They were kind enough to let us store our luggage and access it multiple times either side of our stay so we could see the city more easily. The area was very nice and had lots of outdoor cafes and restaurants. We walked to the Acropolis and other sight seeing.

Top notch hostel- great for a family

We stayed in the Superior Quadruple Room, which has a lofted area with two double beds where our kids stayed. The room was well appointed, with comfortable beds, a well-functioning modest size bathroom and a good amount of space. The entire building is clean and well maintained. You must ring or use a keycard to enter from the street at all times, a helpful security measure. Breakfast was a good value (we signed up for the promo of 8EUR/pp upon check-in) and a nice way to start the day. There's a game room and spacious common area, and the kitchen is available for guest use outside of breakfast hours. The location is great-- an easy walk to restaurants and sites-- and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The negatives:
The windows are not very sound insulating, so some street noise can be heard. Luckily it wasn't too loud, but this would be a great improvement.
The railing from the loft area has a lot of space between spindles, such that a child's head could easily fit through, making me anxious. It would be much better if they added spindles to increase safety.
Overall a great place at a reasonable price. We would stay again.

We understand that the noise coming from the street can sometimes be an inconvenience. Our hostel is located in a 19th century building which has been declared a historical monument. This is the reason we cannot make certain structural modifications.

The breakfast menu was good and the bathrooms were clean and private for just our room of 6. Front desk staff was lovely and very helpful!
