Let me start off by saying that I spend about 60-70 days per year in hotels. This hotel was very nice and I would stay again. I will start off with the positives- the staff was really nice. They let us have a check-in about 3 hours early. The hotel is an excellent location near all the tourist areas with shops, restaurants, museums, and the metro within easy reach. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The goods far outweigh the "negatives."
The negatives....somewhere in their literature this hotel is described as a 5 star hotel. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel. By American standards, it's the equivalent of maybe a 3+ star hotel. I'm not knocking the hotel, but that's just what it is. Why? First off, the rooms are a bit small and awkward. The room feels much smaller than it is. When you walk into the room, there is a short hall that leads to the bed area. There is maybe 3 feet of space on one side of the bed, 4 feet on the other side, and maybe 4.5 feet on the third side. There isn't a traditional bathroom. The sink is in the hallway, and on either side of the sink is the water closet with the toilet, and a shower with a clear door on the other side of the sink. So basically there is no bathroom. The gym is sparse with equipment. The TV is small and half the channels don't work like CNN or BBC. The walls in the room are bare. They advertise an airport shuttle, but there isn't one- they just arrange one for you if want at your cost.

5 minute walk from Acropolis and metro station. 10 minutes from Plaka. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Very quiet hotel.

We had a really excellent stay. Staff incredibly helpful, beds comfortable and balcony views to Acropolis and cleanliness were amazing. Lovely breakfast buffet (Greek yoghurt and bakery particularly good) with added cooked to order egg items and deserts!

Great location. Easy access to historical sites, places to see and places to eat. Included breakfast was delicious and great way to start the day before heading out to sight see and explore. Would stay here again.

We paid a significant premium for an “Acropolis View” room, yet the Acropolis was only partially visible from the balcony and the room fell well short of what was advertised.
What is most concerning is that the hotel continues to market and charge a premium for Acropolis View rooms despite the widely reported closure of upper floors and rooftop facilities following planning enforcement action. If these restrictions have reduced the availability or quality of genuine Acropolis-view accommodation, guests should be clearly informed before booking, not after arrival.
The hotel refused to offer an alternative room and made no meaningful attempt to address our concerns. We believe there is compelling evidence to warrant an investigation into whether the hotel's room descriptions and marketing accurately reflect the accommodation currently being provided to guests.
