Nice accommodation, location unfavourable
The location! Attention, you have a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the accommodation. This is heavily used by scooters.
On arrival you had the possibility to be driven by the hosts by scooter, as well as the luggage is transported by scooters.
Advantage the hosts are right next door and always approachable, they would think one every time with the scooter up but with 4 people very difficult and takes too long.
A golf caddy is also available with this we were taken to the parking lot on departure. Since the path is very cramped and heavily trafficked by scooters, this was very adventurous.
At this said parking lot it is "tolerated" to let/get out of the grave driver. BUT picking up is difficult. There is a sign at this parking lot you should please support the taxi drivers and use them instead of being driven by the grave or similar. There are at least 10 men (taxi drivers) standing there all day. These are much more expensive than the grave driver. If these were in the approximate price or only slightly more expensive we would have used them, but did not see the double price to pay. This is not liked and even if you get picked up outside on the street, you are followed and asked three times at least why not take a taxi here, where you want to go etc. You have to justify yourself all the time. The grave driver is then also addressed and insulted and has to pay money. Mafia-like conditions. Sorry, we can't and we won't support it.
Had I known this before, I would definitely have chosen a different accommodation. We are good on foot and sporty but that was too long even for us. At night the path is also very poorly lit as quite, in the day you have to be very careful not to step into the stream and the grids in the ground which are partly in bad condition.
To the city center it is also a 20-30 minute walk along the road. It's really not fun. Not an option.
The view of the TWO small rice fields is nice, but you only see briefly when you arrive or leave there. These are on the doorstep. It's not a highlight, actually not worth talking about.
The pool is very very cold as hardly any sun shines on it.
My conclusion:
No, I wouldn't come here a second time.
The villa is very nicely decorated and clean, the breakfast Service is top. It is very quiet as it is at the end of a dead end.
But unfortunately for us the disadvantages like the long walk from the parking lot to the villa outweigh, no grave without discussion, justification. The ice cold pool. The too long walk on the busy road into the city.

Vacances à Ubud...
Très belle villa 2 chambres cuisine extérieure et piscine privée.
Tranquillité avec un entretien ,ménage impeccable.

Mooie villa met prive zwembad
Mooie villa met prive zwembad. Echt een pareltje net buiten het (mega) drukke centrum. Je kunt niet met een auto bij de villa komen. Je wordt opgehaald bij de massage salon. Ze hebben een golfkar om de koffers naar de villa te brengen. Je hebt je hele verblijf een (gratis) scooter tot je beschikking. Met de scooter is het vijf minuten naar het centrum. Lopen naar het centrum is te ver en te gevaarlijk.
Villa is ruim en schoon. Matras is wel hard, klein minpuntje. Je hebt een mobiele telefoon ter plaatse zodat je eten kunt bestellen of een taxi. Lopen naar de hoofdweg is ongeveer 8 minuten.
Tip: download de app Maps Me. Deze navigatie werkt via GPS. Je hebt alleen internet nodig als je het adres invoert. De route wordt dan berekend. Werkt super goed.
