Perfect holiday

Report small but well managed by Stella and her very kind staff. The rooms are spacious, spotless and air conditioned. The food is great at the restaurant. A shuttle took us to the sea. The beach is reserved for resort guests: perfect holiday.

Seems to be in a Maasai village

Small but cozy village with the hostess Stella and her staff always ready to fulfill guests' requests the beautiful environment because very African and after the safari it seems to be still in the savannah the food is great holiday to remember

not what we expected

I was in Kenya during the Christmas holidays with my partner. Arriving at Flamingo Villa’s Resort, after three days of safaris, sent by our travel agency, we immediately realize that we are, along with two other couples (belonging to the group managed by our own travel agency) the only guests of the resort, along with another couple and the owner. Arrived dinner time we realize, unfortunately, despite the good food (albeit little choice) that the situation was rather bleak: there is no form of entertainment inside the structure and after dinner everything is off (even the central area near the pool completely dark) and we are forced to return immediately to the rooms, where unfortunately the Wi-Fi does not take (the network takes in fact only near the pool which, however, is not illuminated is not very exploitable when there are no more natural daylights). As for half board: we asked if it was possible to replace dinner with lunch but were told no because "not equipped". Access to the beach is managed via a car transfer service (about 10 minutes), but since there is only one vehicle made available to the resort it is necessary to wait from time to time according to the transit of the guests (also considered that the car holds max 4 passengers). The beach is managed by the owner of the resort and by the same staff (including the cook) and looks very nice, although not providing - despite our explicit request to do so - the option to replace dinner (provided for by half board) with lunch, a situation for us absolutely unusual being the same property and staff. However, the resort as a whole appears to be a beautiful location but poorly maintained and would also need modernization in the bedrooms that appear quite worn (especially windows and bathroom). Positive note: very helpful and kind staff. Recommended if you are a couple not very young who wants rest and silence; not for young couples, group of friends or couples with children since there is no entertainment.

Holiday in absolute peace

We spent four days in a pristine environment not luxury however that satisfies the aspito with delicious food the beautiful sea when there is no low tide and then it is a pleasure a few hours to talk to Stella the queen of the village
