THE BEST OF MIMOUN'S CARE

We have recently been to this Riad and the experience could not have been better. Mimoun treated us great and recommended many things to us. The breakfasts were different every day and one of the best in our entire experience in Marrakech. Furthermore, the Riad is very beautiful and cozy and is quiet, and if we add that it is 10 minutes from the central square and the Popular Pharmacy, it is a perfect pick-up point for excursions.
More than recommended!! And take the 3-night, 4-day excursion with him to go to the two deserts, Todra and Gades.

very disappointed.I have booked a accommodation named Riad Jnan Adam, Smara Kandi, 11, Derbi,Smara Kandi, Rte Sidi Abedelaziz MA 4000, Tel-2120669540715.
Upon arrival at that place on 31/10/25 at around 12.00pm , manager of Riad said my booking was cancelled and they have sent me a message about cancellation.. He said that their Riad is fully booked and then again said he was not aware of my booking. He said he did not know where we would do or where i will go. I have told that i have not received any cancellation from Loveholiday and showed my booking conformation letter but he was telling the same thing that it was cancelled.
I told him that i would call police as i felt very angry after travelling 4 hours and then was informed wrong thing. Then he said my booking with another Riad and he called manager of Riad Sadam. I talked to the lady who is the manager of Riad Sadam, at BAB, Aylan. She said my booking with them. I took a taxi and went there later in Riad Sadam at Bab Aylan.

Extremely Disappointing and Dishonest Experience

We booked a stay for two separate periods, but the Riad accepted our reservation even though they were already overbooked and couldn’t actually accommodate us. The way this entire situation was handled is truly regrettable. This was the first time I’ve ever had such a negative experience. The way they conducted themselves throughout the process, and the lack of honesty shown, is unacceptable.
They tried to move us to other properties far away from the original Riad we had booked. We refused, so we had to cancel part of the reservation. However, the first two nights were non-refundable — even though the Riad should have declared an overbooking situation, which they didn’t. They basically tried to mislead us.
Not even the commitments they confirmed just a few days before our arrival were respected. They said there would be space in an annex of the Riad with the same conditions, but when the guests arrived, they tried to move them outside the Medina instead.
Very disappointing.

Not pleasant - rather disappointed

The photos in the advert must be over ten years old - it does not look like this now. It’s needs some maintenance and a bloody good clean - definitely not worth the money they charge. Very basic Riad! Room basic, shower dark and dangerous! Only given small towels! Room next to reception so no privacy at all. Young male worker spent most of his time sat outside our window in YouTube listening to videos - do not very relaxing. Breakfast consisted of pancakes - and a laughing cow cheese - same each day. Not enough protein. Very pushy on activities, even after we explained we had come for a few days chill - we have been many times before - but everyday the suggestions became more outrageous - how about bike riding? I am disabled!! I have written a booking.com review - with some positives as well as (milder) things they could improve and they asked me to remove it! It’s not good, don’t stay there, there are better riads. I was sooo disappointed.

Welcoming Riad in the heart of the Medina

I received a warm welcome here, and nothing was too much for the managers when I needed advise or help in planning the rest of my stay in Morocco. Comfortable quiet and spacious room, Breakfast was substantial, and more than i expected. They also have a rooftop terrace.
The Riad is in easy walking distance to the square and exploring the rest of the Medina and some of the sites.
