Misinformation and package spa/3 courses/hotel stay
We checked into the hotel where it startet with missing our 2 bathrobes, but we managed to find the two missing by contacting the reception. Then we headed to the spa, where it was a bit messy and low quality. I tried ordering through our room, but the guys could not find the room/booking/name and ended up in a struggle. So one guy(reception chief) came and told us there was an error and would upgrade our room to a bigger apartment type of room, but this ended up as a direct lie to the face, and their solution to errors is to just serve you some alcohol. After we where on the spa and had the disappointment, we had a hope the 3 course dinner with the hotel package from their own website could make this stay more enjoyable. This ended up with being direct misinformation/lying, where they where serving a buffet to cover for a 3 course dinner. 3 course dinner is not a buffet, so in my eyes they sell you this package to trick you to stay there, and makes a poor buffet to cover with some food. I will not recommend this place, you will have a better experience elsewhere.

Impulsive visit
Was a little disappointed at first sight, the hotel needs hard maintenance inside as outside.
The spa department is small but totally ok with pool, jacuzzi, and saunas, sorry the tranquillity was ruined by playful children, realize that the wild bath too The food was good and nice concept that everyone must come to the table at 19am when everyone gets the food like bruschetta was good but too thick slice , coat and dessert was very good.
Even m check out at 11 we were allowed to use the outdoor pool m sunbeds for a few hours before we drove on. This place is every one visit even though it is a little tired.
Very nice staff

Incredibly good!
Nice people, nice in the spa department, simple but good breakfast, nice walking area, very good barbecue & shellfish buffet incl dessert!
Yes it is old and worn, but it is after all part of Norway’s historic hotels
