Highly recommended stay

Spotlessly clean guesthouse in a lovely, secure and peaceful setting, with convenient on-site parking. The team was excellent — Jackie, John and Pricilla were all so welcoming, courteous and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and meeting Rexy, the resident dog, was a real highlight. I can highly recommend this as a place to stay in Knysna.

Owner-managed excellence!

Brian, the owner of Amber Guest Lodge goes the extra mile to ensure guests feel at home. And his staffing team are just as caring and enthusiastic. The room I stayed in was very spacious, well equipped and clean. Gentle music is played in the common areas and I really enjoyed that!

My family and I had an amazing experience at Amber Guest Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Amber Lodge is perfect for families – they provided thoughtful touches that made my daughter feel right at home, and there were plenty of activities nearby to keep her entertained. The peaceful surroundings and lovely views were an added bonus, making it a truly restful getaway.
