Just absolutely lovely & breathtaking!

30 October - 2 November 2025.
What a remarkable number of days spent with our bride to be, family & friends!
The guest house team -Chas. & Morris- is so helpful, efficient, accommodating with a touch of making us all feel spoiled!
It felt like home away from home!
Excellent value for money.
A marvellous view from the upper pool deck!
Beautiful, spacious & excellently equipped bedrooms & bathrooms.
Surely with a number of fine touches & finesse!
Safe & secure, including the ample parking space.
Hope to be back sooner than later!

Wonderful Guesthouse

This guesthouse is super clean, excellent manager in Cindy, nothing is too much trouble. 10 minute walk to main restaurants in Stellenbosch. Two pools and several sunbeds. Large room with balcony and kitchenette. This property was a real find and we will definitely be back next year. A fab stay.

A perfect 4 nights at Piet Retief

Cindy welcomed us to the beautiful guest house which was amazing, our chosen room was perfect, clean, comfortable with a self catering kitchen area and a large shower/bathroom. The garden had a pool with sunbeds and there was also a pool with a view and more comfortable seats and sunbeds on the top floor. It was safe to walk into town in the evening and lots of choice for eating and drinking.
A big thank you to Cindy, Morris and all the staff for making our stay so pleasureable.
We look forward to returning.

The best in Stellenbosh

The manager could not do enough to help us. It was a particularly busy period and they went out of their way to make sure all our needs were taken care of and sorted our room so we could stay for longer. It was also a stunning and very safe property.

Loved it, just perfect

Would absolutely stay here again especially the honeymoon suite which we were upgraded too. All the staff were fantastic and very welcoming. The room was wonderful with balcony and a pool nearby. The room was spacious, spotless and we wished we could have stayed longer. Private parking and a short walk into town
