A good hotel conveniently close to downtown
It is located very well facing the city center. A place where you can shop, eat and drink.
There is an affiliated multi-level parking lot next to the hotel, and if you ask the hotel front desk, you can buy a ticket that costs 1,500 yen for 20 hours. It may not be a good deal depending on when you enter and leave the store, so it is a good idea to check the quick reference table at the hotel front desk.
The inside of the building and the rooms are new and beautiful. The room was equipped with a deodorant dryer. I used it for a short time and it felt like after steam ironing. I think it's good.
The refrigerator provided in the room is quite small and only has a cooling function, no freezing.
It was a fridge so small that if you put a lunch box and two 500ml plastic bottles it would fill up.
I had nothing to write in the room, just to make a note of it.
There is a public bath on the top floor of the building and a riffa shower head. It felt very good when I washed my face in a mist with a switch on the head.
There were about six washrooms. There are also 4 hair dryers in the dressing room at Riffa. Bathing is available until 24:00.
On the front floor, there were comic books that could be read in the room, and lockers where luggage could be left after checking out, which felt convenient.
It was cheap and a very good hotel.

Loved The Onsen And The LG Clothes Dehumifier
Great location in the middle of town with mechanical parking immediately next door.
The place is semi-automated with checkin featuring a screen samurai or dinosaur. You do need to speak to a staff about paying the 1500 yen for parking.
The room was typically small and we found the bed to be okay if a tad uncomfortable. As it was shaky, each time one of us turned it felt like rolling in the sea.
Ameneties like bathrobes, toothbrushes and shavers are available at reception.
We loved the LG clothes dehumifier in the room which can help to cleanse your jackets and clothes. They also have paid washers and dryers on the reception floor.
There is an onsen on the upper floor that was relatively quiet in the afternoon.
Staff were very responsive - the mini safe in the room was left locked by the previous occupant and she was up quickly to help us unlock it.

High-tech hotel which packs a lot of functionality
My initial impression of this hotel was a bit quirky, with big animated avatars behind the front desk. However, I found it to be a very functional, modern hotel with high-tech amenities, like an LG Steam cleaner (not a washing machine, but great for quickly refreshing your clothes), "AI" air conditioning, and a very smart TV in the room.
The location is great as it's right next to the busy shopping district of Tenmonkan. It's not very close to either the central train station or the port, but I found both to be within reasonable walking distance. As there are plenty of interesting bars and shops nearby, you really don't have to walk very far.
The top floor has a guest-only bathhouse with a sauna, free and open until midnight, a great alternative to showering in your room. I strongly recommend it. In summary, I very much enjoyed my stay here and I think it's a great choice for visiting Kagoshima.

Very ok, near tram
The location was ok. By tram you can easily get from the train station close to the hotel, where you have about 5 minutes on foot. The check in was ok. I found the virtual reception staff boring, as they looked at the screen more than at samurai, ninja or raptor anyway. Very emotionless.
The room was ok but was very noisy. You could hear a lot of things going on outside or inside. The first time we entered, we met a strange smell, which was then gone at some point. In the toilet the urine smell unfortunately stuck from the second day.
The bed had a very hard mattress and the pillows were very small and thin. The TV was Top Modern and was equipped with Youtube, etc. To couple.
There was another cleaner in the room, or whatever that was, from LG. Unfortunately, an English manual was somehow missing.
