Terrible Experience
First, the initial room we were given — Room 25, which was not properly cleaned, and the air conditioning was not working. We checked in around 2pm, and I started complaining immediately. They brought six different remotes for the AC, yet nothing worked. It was only around 10pm after I firmly stated that I would not pay to sleep in unbearable heat without a functioning AC, that they finally moved us to Room 24.
Second, the AC in Room 24 was barely blowing. We had to manage with a fan. The lighting was terrible, and there was no electricity overnight. It was hot the entire time. No one could provide a proper explanation or even a reasonable excuse.
Third, the water ran out twice. Each time, reception stopped answering calls, and I had to physically walk down to request that they pump water. This is basic service that should not require chasing staff around.
The most upsetting part, the one that truly made me regret staying here, is that I forgot my MacBook Pro charger in Room 24. Since then, I have tried repeatedly to communicate with them, and they claim they cannot find it. It took a full day just to get the manager’s contact details. As I am writing this, the manager has still not responded. My charger has simply “disappeared.” The poor lighting situation contributed to this, because I left it plugged in behind the fridge, expecting to charge once the power returned. There was no electricity from around 10pm until we checked out at about 10am the next morning. No one has been able to explain what happened to the charger. At this point, it is extremely difficult not to suspect the staff.
I deeply regret staying here, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place. When I called reception about my missing charger, they could not even find my record. The receptionist who attended to me was Rachel. I had to remind her that she was the one who borrowed a spoon for me from the kitchen and that she processed our room change from 25 to 24 before she remembered. That suggests poor record-keeping. I was also asked to pay into a private account. When I questioned it, I was told that was their normal practice.
We checked in on Tuesday the 24th February and checked out on Thursday the 26th February.
Avoid this place if you value your comfort and peace of mind.
AVOID THIS PLACE if you love yourself. This is absolutely rubbish. Dont even try it if you dont want to lose your property. If they can’t dig out my charger, this review will continue to be here. Their staff are definitely thieves. They have enough information to locate me. I already called their manager twice no response, left a WhatsApp message for over 12 hours no response still.
