Worth a visit

This Hostel on the little island is like a little paradise. The vibe is amazing, love the people, the food and of course the surfing. It's a magical place, you should definitly spend some time (at least two nights) here.
We stayed in the doorm and it was super nice.

cool little paradise

a magical little spot perfect spot for my solo relaxation trip. accommodations were very clean. many healthy food options. yoga with Emily was a great way to start each day. the rest of the staff was helpful with activities and transportation. can’t beat it for the price.

An amazing experience

I did not stay because there was no longer space available, but I would have loved to, the experience to get to the place is great, the wagon ride was cute among the.forest of the island you appreciate the fauna and flora of the place.
The place is very nice, its facilities 10/10, the staff very friendly and a spectacular beach, a place to rest and disconnect, took care of every detail.
The food was delicious, I ordered a fish ceviche with a fresh fish and a delicious flavor.
They accept credit cards, dollars and cordobas.
No doubt I'll be back.

Fantasticly relaxing stay with turtle sighting

This is truly a gem if you manage to find your way here (and back). I needed a bit of relaxing after a stressful arrival and this was the perfect place for that. I imagine that it‘s even better if you actually like to bathe or want to (learn how to) surf. There‘s board rental available as well.
You can‘t really swim however, as the current is super strong. However, it is certainly possible to be in the water and enjoy the waves.
While the beach is not private, there‘s only few locals passing by and it‘s otherwise vacant as the island is quite remote.
The food is great although not cheap for Nicaragua and the drinks are even better, especially the fresh coconut. It‘s just surpassed by the amazingly friendly and helpful staff.
I stayed in the dorm, which was nice because it wasn‘t crowded and well ventilated. There are moskito nets spanning two of the walls so while some insects can get in, it‘s certainly harder for them which worked great during my time there.
There‘s always water but we had two short power outages. And it seems like most of the power is generated by solar panels, but the generator did also run twice in the evening.
On the weekend it got a bit more crowded, during the day and in the evening as many Nica families came for lunch and some time at the beach. At ten it was quiet though, so sleeping was not a problem.
My highlight was probably seeing a turtle lay eggs. Ask the staff for the chances, what to be aware of and what to look out for if you are interested.

Week long stay

Great place to stay with great views, vibes and food. Remote location offering surfing, turtle hatchings, kayaking and slip & sliding. Social atmosphere with plenty space should you wish to chill by yourself or with friends. Management and staff were extremely helpful going the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable experience
