Beautiful, traditional house with sauna.

Super beautiful house near the harbor. Very nicely furnished. There are 6 rooms, a modern communal kitchen, two toilets, 1 shower, and seating for dining. Large refrigerator and good internet. Free sauna with additional showers. Since it is an old wooden house, it is quite noisy, and the smallest room has no window. Contactless key handover worked perfectly. Very cozy and homey. I liked it a lot.

Quaint guesthouse close to Kuopio town centre.

The guesthouse is located about a twenty minute walk from the centre of Kuopio. My room was down on the ground floor next to the sauna and I found it very dark. It was a little quirky with log walls and a suit of armour in the corner. Wi-fi OK. Kitchen facilities and a dining room were located upstairs. A fridge is provided in the room.

Nice room in house

This is a nice place to stay. Reasonable price. Location was 10 min or so walk out of Kuopio town centre, similar distance to supermarkets. Room was good, big and clean. It is a little odd as it is a proper house and every possible room has been turned into a guest bedroom so it can be confusing to navigate with all the different rooms and entrances.
The TV was hard to work, it would be good if they could include instructions in the guide book in the room (I'm old!). The wifi details in the book were incorrect so I had to go round the house to find the router, and go behind the TV to find the correct password etc.
For check in they send you a code to get in the door and your room number and then your key will be on a hook inside (all done contactless)

Erinomainen hinta/laatusuhde
