We loved everything about this peaceful place!

We stayed only two nights but wished it could have been several more. The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. The room was delightful: spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, had a comfortable bed and the best shower I have ever experienced. The room has its own furnished terrace. Breakfast was plentiful. My favourite part of the day was sitting on the terrace by the pool to watch the sky change colour as the sun set, and to listen to the frogs and birds. This place is perfection.
Note: the best way to find the place is to rely on old-fashioned map skills rather than just the gps.

We stayed two nights but wished we could have stayed a few more. The host and hostess were very helpful and hospitable. The room was delightful: spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, and the best rain shower I have ever experienced. Our room came with its own terrace. My favourite part of the day was sitting on the terrace by the pool to watch the sky change colour as the sun set and to listen to the frogs and birds. This place is perfection.

Eclectic

It is true this is difficult to find and you should not use the satnav, have put directions on booking.com., but the people are lovely and this is a house in the countryside (although only a short walk into town. The parking area is not flat but not bad an the drive is a little steep but not bad and not tarmac. I must say though if you want a hotel, go to one. We enjoyed our stay here and this area of the Ardeche. Get very nice breakfast as well.
I think the previous comment is not a true reflection of the establishment.
