Exciting Mayon experience

This is an excellent hotel in terms of facility and service. They are very accommodating and will take reservations by phone. It's 2 floors without elevator but is still OK with us. I recommend the hotel for budget conscious travellers. You can go to different attractions easily from this FJ Manila Hotel. I love the John 3:16 bible verse on the wall.

Daraga not in Manila

Nestled in Daraga, just outside Legaspi City and near the airport, this hotel, though lacking an architect's touch, boasts charming interiors crafted by a skilled engineer. While simplicity reigns in its design, the convenient location near key tourist spots ensured a pleasant stay.

Great staff who were very helpful. Hotel feels a bit tired, little things like shower room was old and flooded, however it all worked fine. No maid service during a three night stay. Air con is the older type so noisy.
Fine for a short stay.

Great customer service

This is our second stay at FJ Manila Hotel. They definitely have one of the best customer service. The staff are very good, friendly and helpful. I do hope they plan on getting an elevator. The stairs is okay for able clients but what about old people or people who are less abled or not able at all....overall, this is a great place to stay.

Very friendly and kind front desk staff

The place is just along the highway which makes it perfect for family on road trips. However, their parking space on the front of their building is just limited. Nevertheless, the place stays true to its slogan: “home away from home”. The front desk staff is very friendly; we even got a free upgrade to a deluxe room!
The place is very homey and cozy; the dining area/small resto upon entering is very inviting. The breakfast tastes good and their brewed coffee is one of the best among the hotels in the country.
The room is big for a family of four and even their extra beddings are very comfortable. The internet connection is fast and outlets for charging are available. The only not so enjoyable amenities in the room, considering its a deluxe room, are the small TV and loose shower head (which made taking a bath not so easy). There is also no mini refrigerator in the room and there is no elevator in the building; you need to take the stairs to get to your room.
But overall, the place is highly recommended. They provided what was expected from their hotel description here in TripAdvisor; so don’t expect to be very near Mayon Volcano. ;)
