Very clean
It is a very clean and comfortable hostel this. The facilities were the best, all of the first. And the bathroom in the room made the stay comfortable. The only other way is the arrival, which is at the back of the address mentioned, leaving confused not only me as other guests.

Nightmare hostel
Hostel completely different from the photos. 100% missing cleanliness, obscene and incredibly dirty bathrooms. Corridors carpeted with spiders and more. Heater in broken bathroom dripping on toilet. Nightmarish bedrooms all dirty from A to Z. Beds full of pubic hair, all kinds of stains, toenails. We asked the boy, kind and helpful, several times in the morning to change the bed sheets but despite this it was not done.
After a full day out we return and the room was still dirty with unchanged beds.
The boy had to proceed to change them in front of us only after yet another request. Not to mention the kitchen; located in the corridor where there can be a maximum of 2/3 people. Small, dirty and with food left everywhere. The most ridiculous thing is that on our arrival the rooms were in these conditions but as we left there was the cleaning lady who changed the sheets but still full of stains (even blood). Remember are mixed rooms with shared bathroom (4 of which 1 not usable ) Very not recommended!! Especially for solo travelers it's a bit dangerous because we found strange people screaming at night or knocking in the rooms to ask for clothes insistently. It's a shame because it's close to downtown.

Our cleaning team operates twice a day, and all beds are changed after each check-out. However, if there were errors in preparing your room, we sincerely apologize. Sometimes, beds are used without authorization before guests arrive, which creates confusion — we are actively working to solve this issue with a new digital bed assignment system.
Regarding the bathrooms, one out of the 12 available was indeed temporarily out of service, but the rest were fully functional. Please take note that we have one of the most confortable ratios of guests per bathroom, with only 6 guests per bathroom, when usually hostels have usually 10-12 guests per bathroom. Any radiator issues are repaired as soon as they’re reported, and we’ve already followed up on this.
The kitchen is compact, but we want to remind you that our hostel actually has four (4) kitchens, and we encourage guests to use the other ones if one of them is busy.
As for noisy guests or inappropriate behavior: it’s extremely important that our guests report any discomfort to our staff immediately, so we can take action — either directly or through our on-call security. Unfortunately, if situations aren’t reported in real-time, we may not be aware of them.
We do appreciate your honest feedback — it helps us improve and take action where needed.

Trash avoid like the plague staff could use a lesson in manners
Run down pictures don’t reflect this, no security of passport checks, guests were puking in the bathroom odd lay out never met any staff member they only communicated via WhatsApp no one showed me around or even showed up. Unhygienic loud drunk or drugged guest trashed the tv and door. Towels weren’t provided when I asked. Didn’t respond on bookings.com. Drunk guest Loud all night so the POLICE showed up not a safe place for a woman travelling alone and not great communication from the staff members until I left a review then they troll me from two different numbers after I blocked them on the first. Then they get abusive and lose any sense of professionalism. Trash hostel and staff members like the plague

To clarify, our hostel is composed of two buildings, and you were assigned to the quieter one, preferred by many solo travelers. We offer reception support from 8 AM to midnight, and after-hours check-ins are handled via WhatsApp with detailed self check-in instructions — a system clearly described in your booking confirmation.
We understand you arrived around 3 AM and, instead of coming to reception during the day like most guests, you preferred to manage all communication exclusively through WhatsApp — including your towel request and concerns. We did our best to respond despite your confrontational tone. We’re genuinely sorry no one was there to greet you with a silver platter and trumpet fanfare, but unfortunately that’s not included in our €10/night rate.
As for the incident involving a guest breaking a glass panel, it was handled immediately with on-site security and a police call, ensuring everyone’s safety. You contacted us through Whatsapp to tell us that police is in the building and my colleagues informed you that they were the ones who called the police. You were never in danger, and your next question was if breakfast was still served — but we’re glad to confirm that it was, as always, on time.
Finally, after your stay, we reached out to understand your dissatisfaction — only to be blocked and accused of harassment for trying to close the loop professionally.
We wish you well in your future travels — and recommend accommodations with 24/7 concierge and turn-down service, which may better suit your needs.

Very disappointing experience
I had a very disappointing experience at this hostel. I booked two beds in a 4-bed shared room, but upon arrival, my partner and I were placed in a room with more people instead. To make things worse, the beds assigned to us were already occupied, leaving us without the accommodations we had reserved and paid for.
When we complained to the host, they told us that the room we had booked was under maintenance and that they had decided to move us without even informing or asking us.
Frustrated and unhappy with the situation, we decided to leave the hostel, but the host refused to give us a refund, despite the fact that they failed to provide what we had booked. The lack of organization and disregard for guests' reservations was unacceptable. If you’re looking for a reliable and well-managed place to stay, I strongly advise against booking this hostel.
When we complained to the host, they told us that the room we had booked was under maintenance and that they had decided to move us without even informing or asking us.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by the necessary room change during your stay. Due to unforeseen maintenance, we had to adjust your booking to the closest available option, which was a six-bed dorm instead of the four-bed dorm originally reserved.
While the price difference was minimal (1 euro per person per night), we acknowledged the unexpected change and offered a 25% refund as a goodwill gesture - 12,5 euros. We understand this may not have been the resolution you were hoping for, but since the room was used for the full duration of the stay, we were unable to offer a full refund.
We always strive to provide the best possible experience for our guests, and we appreciate constructive feedback. If there is anything further we can do to address your concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

Horrible adventure
Group of 23 people. Here comes the surprise. The reservation made and confirmed by email from the property website does not correspond with the assigned rooms. They justify themselves by saying that the confirmation takes place after payment occurred.no one called before to inform of the change. Fleet cockroaches on the outside. Dirty. Mattresses made from 10 cm of terry. Insufficient bathrooms and some out of service. At reception c was always some guest complaining about errors in the booking. The manager has never seen himself in the facility to resolve matters but only by telephone and always with arrogant tones. Not recommended. They overcharged me. Against an expense of 588 were retained 600 euros

Despite multiple follow-ups, payment was not made, and five days before check-in, we informed you that we could no longer hold the requested rooms as we were receiving other reservations. Unfortunately, you left our messages unanswered.
Two days before arrival, you submitted a booking request for three specific rooms (10-bed, 8-bed, and 6-bed), but by then, these were no longer available, as we had already explained. However, in an effort to accommodate your group, we upgraded you at no additional cost to four 6-bed rooms—rooms that were more expensive than your original booking. Despite this, you arrived and immediately began threatening us with bad reviews and official complaints, demanding the original rooms, which had already been booked by other guests.
Additionally, regarding your claim of paying €600, we want to clarify that you were charged 2,913 RON, which at the time of payment equated to approximately €588. Due to exchange rates and any fees charged by your bank, you may have ended up paying around €598, but this difference was not charged by us—it is solely due to your bank’s exchange fees.
We understand that the original room layout may have been more convenient for your group, but as previously communicated, we cannot hold unpaid reservations indefinitely, especially for large groups, as no-shows impact our ability to operate fairly and sustainably.
We strive to be as transparent and accommodating as possible, and in this case, we did everything we could to ensure your group had a suitable stay. We regret that this did not meet your expectations, but we hope that in the future, you will consider confirming bookings in a timely manner to avoid similar issues.
