Booked this hotel for a last minute trip, it’s clean, modern and very well run. Staff all lovely, very comfortable bed, and a lovely pool. The hotel is small which I really like. I will be back for sure

Cancelled same day in June — still no €1,058 refund and no proof it was even sent

In June 2026 I made a reservation at Regency Boutique Hotel in Kato Paphos (reservation BBE26062021334548, stay 26 September–2 October 2026). Within about two hours I requested cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
The hotel confirmed in writing that the booking was cancelled free of charge and that €1,058 would be refunded to the same card/account used for payment. They wrote that processing time “may vary depending on the bank.”
Months later I have received:
no refund;
no payment reference;
no bank transfer confirmation;
no document showing that the refund was actually initiated.
I called reception twice. Both times I was told they would check and call me back. Nobody did.
A same-day cancellation followed by a written promise of a full refund should not take from June until the end of August. If the money had been sent, it would have been easy to provide a transaction ID. They have not.
Until the €1,058 is returned and documented, I cannot recommend booking this hotel directly.

A very good choice for accommodation

I stayed at the hotel and overall I had a very good experience. The location is really very convenient, as everything is very close by - restaurants, the sea, supermarket and generally everything you might need during your stay.
The room was beautiful and clean, although the bathroom area was a little small. The staff was very helpful and kind.
The only negative I would like to mention is the soundproofing on the balcony doors. Even though the doors were closed, almost all the outside noises could be heard as if they were open, which can be particularly annoying during quiet hours.

Menefragism

The structure is new, but already let go a bit. As soon as we enter the room, we realize that the bathroom sink does not flush well, we point it out at the reception that says "Thank you", which tasted so much like "who cares". Actually after 2 days not much has changed, but we had the plus of the alarm clock at 7 thanks to the generator set of the yard next door. It's not that I expect the upgrade, but since the structure is not full, something better than a room on the ground floor, construction side could be found. The cleanliness is not excellent, and net of the yard, on the road pass several "smarmitanti" vehicles that feel great in the room. The bed is comfortable and the small kitchen compartment (sink, fridge, kettle, Nespresso machine and induction hob), are a nice plus.
