Stunning setting, wonderful staff.
Stunning setting with beautifully crafted food (much sourced locally and produced themselves.) Staff attentive and friendly and kind.

Very disappointing!
We came here with my family especially for the day, looking forward to seeing Tammy, the hotel’s lovely dog whom we have grown fond of over the years, and enjoying dinner at what we have always considered a wonderful and welcoming place.
For several years, our family has been returning to this hotel and restaurant and recommending it enthusiastically to friends, colleagues, and anyone looking for a special place to stay or dine. In fact, last year we even brought friends with us because we have always spoken so highly of the experience here.
That is why today’s experience was particularly disappointing.
I arrived with my son for dinner and was informed, in a rather demonstrative manner, that we would not be fully served because we were not hotel guests. What made the situation even more difficult to understand was that a British couple arrived shortly after us, received full service, enjoyed their meal, and then left by car. They clearly did not appear to be staying at the hotel either.
What disappointed me most was not the refusal itself, but the way it was handled. As someone who does not argue, raise my voice, or create scenes, I simply felt unwelcome and embarrassed in front of my child.
The restaurant was far from busy. There were only a few occupied tables around us, most of which appeared to be occupied by guests enjoying wine, desserts, pancakes, or light meals. There was certainly no visible issue with capacity.
Over the years, we have noticed a clear pattern. Whenever the owner is present, everything runs flawlessly. The atmosphere is warm, the service is professional, and guests genuinely feel valued. Unfortunately, when she is not there, the standards seem to change dramatically. Today left us with the impression that serving customers was simply viewed as an inconvenience rather than an opportunity.
Perhaps the most unfortunate consequence is that we had been seriously considering spending a full week at the hotel this October together with friends. Following today’s experience, that idea is completely off the table. It is difficult to justify choosing a place where loyal returning customers can be treated this way.
I am writing this review not out of anger, but out of genuine disappointment. It takes years to build loyalty and trust, but only one evening to lose them. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this hotel and restaurant are capable of much better than what we experienced today.

Fabulous homemade food
This valley as a whole is dreamy but this small hotel fascinated us. The treatment of the staff very remarkable with numerous local recommendations. But please, although the restaurant closes early at 19 (especially for us Spanish), don’t forget to try the food. The most homemade thing we ate on our trip. Looked like we were having dinner at our grandmothers' house. The soups were cinematic, the reindeer meat super tender and tasty and the kind of empanadillas we ordered also stuffed with meat were spectacular. Desserts mention part. We have to go if or if. Mandatory!

Great hotel away from the hustle and bustle
Simply great. Very nice family hotel with friendly service. Very good food and nice, modern and clean rooms. Fair price.
I can only recommend the hotel. Arrive by car.

Relaxing
As a couple we spent a weekend in this cozy apartmets. The location is amazing, you can get to waterfall Rinka really easily, the food is delicious, the whole building feels so relaxing and we treated ourselves with sauna and jacuzzi (have to make the reservation though) and started our week energetically.
