Fantastic welcoming stay

Up and top guest friendly. Size and very clean family room. Fantastic safari (all day) arranged with regular driver and before you are picked up in the morning a delicious cup of tea. And for both evening and ichtend a delicious dinner and breakfast naked. Would highly recommend it!

Perfect Stay for Yala Safari

The hosts are extremely warm, helpful and accommodating. The large enough for our family 5 bed room with bathroom and air conditioning had everything we needed. A good starting point for a Yala safari, which you can and should also book directly with the hosts. They got us a super nice and competent driver (Kasun) who knows the park inside out and knows when to see which animals where (especially the leopards, of which he is a big lover).
We have been deliciously cooked by the hostess with local cuisine (curry, vegetables, kottu, Fried Riece and fruit). And when we had to go to the neighboring town to the ATM, the host gladly offered to take one of us there by motorcycle.
Finally, the well-connected hosts on the day of departure still made sure that the bus to Ella, which actually does not stop right in front of the house, stopped for us.
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!!

Absolute recommendation

We were very lucky to stay at the JAMI River Side Hotel & Yala Safari Place in Tissamaharama – one of the best accommodations of our Sri Lanka trip. The warm hostess took care of us personally, gave us valuable tips for the area and even organized a safari for the next day. In addition, she made tea for us before the safari and answered all the questions we otherwise had. Especially impressive was the cleanliness of the accommodation and the loving atmosphere. Bicycles were also available to us to explore the area ourselves. Unfortunately we were only there one night, we would have liked to have stayed longer.
We can fully recommend the JAMI River Side Hotel & Yala Safari Place!
