Wonderful and memorable stay at Amaranthé Bay Resort

Our family had a wonderful and memorable stay at Amaranthé Bay Resort in Trincomalee, enjoying its peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere, excellent location, and clean, comfortable facilities. The outstanding service, delicious meals, and warm hospitality from the staff made it exceptional value for money, and we highly recommend it for a relaxing family holiday.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel next to the beach with friendly and attentive service. Swimming in the great pool was lovely. Highly recommended.

A favorite in this green setting, with all the tranquility of nature present.

for this small hotel full of charm. And yet, the establishment is located in a small alley without any originality, with a façade without radiance. The entrance and reception are in the image of the structure, simple with a very succinct decoration. And then you discover an idyllic and green landscape. A garden with multitudes of trees , plants with an ultra green lawn. A magnificent swimming pool that surrounds this mini green park with its many deckchairs and umbrellas to protect you from the sun. Wildlife with these birdsongs soothe your absolute tranquility. We are truly in a paradise of serenity, wisdom and contemplation. The beach is by a small private passage of a 50 meters to the side of the hotel. And you discover a beautiful beach of fine white colored sand. Along the coast, you can admire the local fishermen returning from the sea with their cargoes of fish. Trincomalee is above all a fishing port with many small boats. Living and beautiful to admire. The rooms are just like the hotel , simple and comfortable. The service of the rooms is perfect and impeccable on hygiene. The staff is discreet but efficient at every request. Young but competent and especially available. Meals are of normal quality. A tip if you have the opportunity to visit, ask for a room around the pool, as the view is enchanting and relaxing on your terrace. I stayed there 5 days , and for a 3 star hotel , the price is very competitive and ultra reasonable. To advise with great pleasure for future arrivals. The globe trotter Romu. The French Man.

Family stay at Anantamaa!

We chose this hotel because the area is extremely difficult to find a good resort hotel. A long story short: this hotel is EXTREMELY overpriced! Should be good enough at max half of its price.
Entrance was disappointing for this type of hotel. Swimming pool nicer on the pictures but was oke. Rooms very basic and Bathroom under the standards and a lot was broken. Stains on the sheets. Airconditioning needs to be replaced. Almost no sockets to charge our phones.
Breakfast was a disaster... 20 people standing in queue for an egg... No place to move between the dishes...
But the staff is VERY nice and friendly!!! They were helping in all possible ways. Room with better view + late checkout, BIG THANKS for that. Location of the hotel was perfect!! Beach access fantastic too! Would recommend this hotel but at max half the price.
