Magical Safari in the Serengeti!
Perfect experience for family and couples. It is right at the center of the Serengeti, with plenty of game around. We saw Lions feeding, twice different Leopards sleeping on the three, elephants, hippos, elephants, everything. We went in late July the Wildebeest and Zebras had left already north to the Masai Mara.
The staff is the best, Fred, Barack, Sara, Johnson… everyone!! Barack is a great Safari guide, the best among the best! Fred our butler was out of this world. But also Johnson our house keeper, Sara in the front desk. The Maasai security people who go with you to your tent.
The food, best gourmet food you could expect in such a high end establishment. Perfect!
The camp is meticulously decorated and curated. Classic, tasteful and smart. You will feel like royalty exploring Africa in the 19th century but with all the comfort of the 21st century.
The experience is full of surprises!! This is a one in a life time experience, not cheap but worthwhile.
Tips are very important for the staff. Tip generously, bring plenty of cash only for that, but you can give some cash and some charge it to the credit card.
Fly in and fly out. Do Masai Mara first (Andbeyond), Nogorongori (Melia) and this last. If you have energy then to Rwanda to see the gorillas.
We didn’t do the hit air balloon but everyone highly recommended it. An excuse to come back.
Not for anyone younger than 14.

Exceeded All Expectations – A Spectacular, Once-in-a-Lifetime Stay!
During the end of September 2025, our family stayed at One Nature Nyaruswiga. This was a spectacular visit and exceeded high expectations in every way. The expected was amazing, but the unexpected is what truly made this one of the most memorable vacations of our lives.
Upon arrival we were greeted by nearly the entire staff singing and welcoming us. This set the tone for the entire stay. Each time we returned to the camp we were always greeted by smiles and waves.
The tents were eloquently decorated, spacious, and comfortable. If there is a term that surpasses “glamping”, it definitely could be used to explain One Natures accommodations.
If you are wondering about the animals and if you will see them near the camp… YES! Upon arrival there was a large elephant walking through the camp. At the opposite end, only a few hundred feet from the gym, was a male lion guarding this recent kill. Zebras outside of the tent were abundant. While sitting on the deck of the tent and looking over the Serengeti, you will literally see hundreds, if not thousands of animals and any give time. During our first night stay a couple of lions got into a scuffle just outside of our tent, making the entire family a little nervous. By the end of our 3-night stay, we were pretty used to the nightly noises. You are in the middle of nature, embrace and enjoy it.
The One Nature team, led by Steven, ensured every detail was flawless. Our attendant, Yohana, and his team of bartenders and wait staff were remarkable, making each breakfast, lunch, and dinner an experience. They were all so friendly and great people, making them feel like family in just a few days together.
While we know it takes a team, the person that made this vacation the best ever was Joe, our guide. He is a fantastic person and even better guide. I would venture to say that he is most likely the best guide in the Serengeti. He is extremely knowledgeable, explaining every animal, every bird, and even every plant. He was fun to be around, and he always ensured we were comfortable, and our needs were taken care of. He greeted us at the airport with coffee / tea and snacks set up on the front of the safari vehicle. During one of the longer drives on the east side of the park (looking for cheetahs) he put a table and 4 chairs out and had a wonderful lunch in the middle of the Serengeti under an acacia tree.
The first part of our vacation was in the Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro area and our safari vehicle was an enclosed Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof. These were nice, but once we arrived and met Joe in his open-sided Land Cruiser, we fell in love with the vehicle. It made the experience much better, being so close to the animals with unobstructive views and very comfortable seats. The open sided vehicles seem rare on the Serengeti, but I really do recommend them.
Lastly, we arranged a special dinner in the bush for a celebration. While everything didn’t go as planned due to a thunderstorm, the entire One Nature team created a lifelong memory that we will always cherish. Drinking champagne and red wine in the safari vehicle, surrounded by zebras, waiting for the rain to stop, and watching the lightning illuminate the distant hills will be something we will never forget. You can’t imagine the effort and energy taken by the One Nature team to make this special dinner and evening what it was.
Thank you, Joe, Yohana, Steven, and the entire One Nature team! If you are reading this review – don’t’ hesitate, book it. I promise you will not regret it, and you also will be writing a review like this when you return.

One Nature Nyaruswiga - unforgettable in every way!
Our stay at One Nature Hotel Nyaruswiga was a real highlight. Gibon, our wonderful butler, has everything perfectly organized for us – from sundowners on the savannah to a movie night at dinner to joint football games with the team. These personal moments made our stay special.
Sarah was warm, dedicated and always there for us – you feel welcome immediately. A big thank you also to Harry, who even brought us our forgotten backpack – just great!
The food was fantastic throughout – creative, fresh and prepared with lots of love. The rooms and room service were excellent too - from the prepared bubble bath to the hot tub everything was there!

Hands down, best resort I've ever stayed at!
The property is stunningly beautiful, rich with wildlife and breath taking views in every direction. It's unfair to call the rooms tents as they are fully built out ultra luxury villas complete with hardwood flooring, copper tubs and every amenity you would expect at a 5-star property. However, what separates One Nature is the incredible staff. Our butler and housekeeper, Emmie and Johnson, were more like personal assists who were with us every step of the way. They went above and beyond to plan individually curated dining experiences each night, never missing a detail along the way. Our driver, Gilbert, was extremely knowledgeable, fun and always ready for an adventure. It was a joy spending each day with him. The property GM and assistant manager, Zuli, were phenomenal hosts. One Nature is next-level luxury in every way imaginable; truly one of the finest resorts in the world.

Outstanding
We’ve stayed in some of the nicest hotels around the world but this stands above them all. They thought of everything: warm bath ready by the fire; Bonfire with an outdoor movie; Clean sheepskin rug when you step out of bed; Absolutely spotless - the room is cleaned each time you step out; Star gazing; infinity pool and jacuzzi with swim up bar. …Don’t worry if you miss the great migration - plenty of animals to see. We will be coming back with friends to this gem.
