Family stay
Really lovely hotel.
So clean and spacious.
Pool area is beautiful.
Food was really lovely- lots of fresh grill options, great variety.
Roof top bar was really lovely and comfortable.

Nothing Like a Five-Star Hotel – Guests Are Not Taken Seriously and the Hotel Is Seriously Overcrowded
Before our arrival, we informed the hotel about our allergies to chemicals and cleaning products. Despite this, our room had a strong smell of chlorine and cleaning products, which caused us to start coughing and experience breathing difficulties. We therefore had to leave the room and keep the terrace door open for around nine hours. For health reasons, we decided not to have the room cleaned for the rest of our stay.
The reception handled the situation very poorly. The person in charge repeatedly asked, “What do you want me to do?” and explained that all 255 rooms were cleaned with chlorine, so moving us to another room would not have made any difference. We felt there was a complete lack of understanding, responsibility and any practical solution.
The hotel also seemed seriously overcrowded in general. At breakfast, there were queues just to get a table, and it could take around 20 minutes to get a coffee and another 20 minutes to get food. As a result, breakfast felt more like a large canteen than the kind of experience you would expect from a five-star hotel.
There were also far too few sun loungers around the pool. Guests queued for up to 45 minutes before the pool opened in order to reserve them for the entire day, even when they were not actually using them.
The rooftop terrace was also constantly so crowded that we were unable to find an available table.

the room was full of ants
The location was excellent, and I really enjoyed the pool and restaurant areas. However, unfortunately, the room was full of ants. Even after the room was cleaned twice, the ants were still there. On the first night, I was actually getting bitten by them in the bed, which was extremely unpleasant.
I reported the issue to the reception, but the only solution they offered was to send someone to clean the room again. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem.
Also, when I arrived, I had two large suitcases and was struggling to get them to the elevator, but there was no one available to help with the luggage.
Overall, the location and facilities were good, but the issue with the ants and the lack of assistance with the luggage significantly affected my stay.
I reported the issue to the reception, but the only solution they offered was to send someone to clean the room again. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem.
Also, when I arrived, I had two large suitcases and was struggling to get them to the elevator, but there was no one available to help with the luggage.

Great Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was very spacious and beds very comfortable. The pool area is amazing. Very well managed. You are given a token for a pool towel which you exchange at the pool. The pool opens at 10.30 and it is very civilised as there are some sun loungers on the pool that are lovely but no mad rush for them or towels used to save them. Pool side bar served delicious food. A mix of staff, some a bit surly, others a delight. Breakfast was very busy so reccomend going earlier if possible. This hotel is about a 45 minute walk to Cadiz old town. The area it is in is very lively and busy. Some amazing ice cream shops but if you want authentic Spanish food eat in the old town.

Lovely experience
This hotel is gorgeous, located right on the beachfront and with a wonderful infinity pool. I had a sea view room which was absolutely lovely. The hotel is a 10 minute walk away from a train station which is convenient and a supermarket is also located next door.
There was generally a good selection of food at the hotel, although I think there could have been some healthier options at the pool bar like salads etc and a wider variety of food at breakfast. Also, the evening entertainment finishes at 11:15/11:30 every evening which is a bit too late I feel considering it’s impossible to sleep before it ends due to how loud it is.
Another thing to note for international travellers is that I found communication with the bar and waiting staff quite difficult, as very little basic English was spoken. This sometimes made ordering food and drinks difficult; on one occasion, I received a meal that I hadn’t ordered.
However overall I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would come back again.
