Lumbier, a luxury I didn't expect.

We are currently staying at this hotel until Thursday the 13th. The assigned room had some shortcomings, I commented on it at reception and we were quickly changed rooms and we are delighted, large, attic, with a lovely terrace and spectacular bathroom. The service could not be better and the restaurant is wonderful.
Highly recommended.

Bad service

We arrived to eat. There were two of us and a baby stroller. We didn't have a reservation, but with all the tables on the terrace and inside empty, they told us that without a reservation we couldn't eat because the cooks were swamped. Very bad service and customer care.

Conveniently located, strange bathroom

It`s a small town, and this is a conveniently located hotel near the centre of town.
It`s an older building, my room was massive with a balcony and a strange bathroom--> equipped with a jacuzzi.
Unfortunately, the support for the shower head was mounted super low above the jacuzzi, which made me shower sitting down.

Stunning food.

We decided to eat here for a Sunday lunch, hoping for a good meal in this remote part of Spain. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food, wine and service. We enjoyed an excellent meal of asparagus with spinach cream, a fish mousse, entrecote and ox cheek, followed by a dessert of three types of chocolate. A very enjoyable meal, and an excellent and helpful waitress who struggled to help us with our poor Spanish.
