GOOD

We didn’t sleep there but just visited daily for the pool. The bartender was very polite and friendly owner the food could be improved. I would recommend the pool as it is lovely but it is unknown what the hotel rooms are like.

GREAT MR BREEZE THAT WHISTLING FELLA EVEN IN STEREO

great night at the bar barman was a bit shifty but freindly enough always wanted tipping i told him i only tip at end of night and thats in the pool seriously enjoyed the staff rooms excellent and a lovely cake shop right round the corner but turn left there,s a place that does eyebrows shocking is not the word they ripped my wife for 240 pound put transaction through 3 times but baba is great fun

I don't recommend it.

I stayed for one day, but I really wouldn't recommend it.
Generally speaking, when we look at such businesses, there is a seasonal or daily indifference, a sense of complacency, as if people will come or not come anyway.
There are no slippers in the room, and there's only one armchair available for a second person.
The bathroom is unbelievably dirty; the water doesn't flow behind the curtain, and even if it does, the shower is so haphazard it really makes you give up on taking a proper shower.
Don't be fooled by appearances; even if it's a daily wage, you'll regret it.

Another Brilliant Stay.

Yet another visit to the fantastic Ali Baba Hotel in Gumbet and, as usual, it didn't disappoint. It's only 2 star, but with every room having a TV, hairdryer, and a FRIDGE, it seems like it should be rated higher. I've seen some negative reviews on here recently and I can't believe those people were talking about the same hotel. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is ever too much trouble for Seb, Ali or the brilliant staff here. As it's quiet at the moment rooms are being cleaned daily, with clean bedding and towels every other day. Food is still gorgeous and reasonably priced. Pool is cleaned daily, as is the surrounding area. Bar prices are about on average with nearby bars and restaurants. Only 2 minute walk to the start of the main street with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, and only a 7-8 minute walk to the beach. Within a 10 minute walk from here i would highly recommend Jack's Place and Rick's Place for food, and the Jukebox and the Happy Karaoke Pub for drinks and entertainment. Just 3 weeks into an 8 week stay here with friends coming out next week to meet up with, I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Lovely

Had a brilliant time there, Seb and Antonio were brilliant as were all staff. Basic but clean, going back next year definately, highly recommend, close to many restaurants, bars and bus to Bodrum end of drive, Antonio was an absolute star who went above and beyond.
