Fantastic view on the skyline both from the Lobby floor - nice quiet area with tables there if you wanna work - and from the room (but be careful: while booking it is not written that std room has no window so they asked me for a - paid - upgrade if I wanna the window. I saw it happened the same to other guests checking in at the same time).
Metro station is 3 mins walking away.
The hotel is quite well furnished even if cleaning in the corridors could be a bit more accurate (in the room all was OK).
Light smart system management is a bit weird, some functions were missing.
Reception staff does not speak English so they used a translator (check in process was quite long, but not the first time in China).
They do not have iron in the room but a laundromat room + steamer at 8F (often busy, no idea why, even late at night).

Food was acceptable, though standard.
Cons:
Elevator Delays & Crowding: Only two elevators servicing the entire property, leading to severe crowding and increased exposure to illness.
Misleading Room & Views: High price point did not align with the actual experience; room featured a poor view of the city exterior that did not match promotional photos.
Poor Value: Unjustified premium pricing compared to superior, lower-cost alternative hotels nearby.

Maintained and kept clean
The staff are super helpful and friendly and the laundry facilities were a great bonus facility even if you have a short stay

Even though the property is in a busy area, you don’t feel it once you’re inside - like your own cocoon between meanderings around the city. There’s plenty to do within walking distance, plus you have easy access to the metro and/or booking a Didi.
Nearby food recommendations:
• Yuxingji Xiehuangmien (go beyond the usual crab roe noodles and try the yellow croaker noodles!)
• Dahuchen for consistent quality (pan fried buns, vermicelli soup)
• Shendacheng for mugwort & red bean paste glutinous rice dumplings
