This is a very good place to stay - close to food, shopping and access from north and south - on the way from BNE to TSV

We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean, tidy, and well-presented, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help whenever we had questions. There was plenty of convenient parking, which made coming and going easy. The kitchen was clean, well-equipped, and had everything needed to prepare meals. Overall, the motel was quiet, comfortable, and great value for money. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to other travellers.

2nd stay there and a great spot, room was not directly in the afternoon sun, so the room is not so boiling hot that the AC couldn’t cope, unlike the last place we stayed at across the road starting with an O, on our last visit to MacKay.

Lovely stay near the river, close to amenities

I have stayed at this apartment numerous times in the past 12 months or so for work, 1-2 weeks at a time. Because each apartment is individually owned, there may be small variances within each apartment. This time I was in room 502. The layout of each apartment is very similar, and this is no different. This is a more pleasant time of the year and the humidity not as high as earlier this year. There are more cookwear in this apartment than the others, which I appreciated. My main compliment is to the staff. Because this is a family owned business, they really try very hard to cater to all the guests.
As usual, the apartment is spacious, bright, clean. Minimal street noise and didn’t get much noise from the neighbours either.
There is one car space in the underground cover for the apartment. It is within walking distance to amenities. I enjoy walking to the farmers market on Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. Just a five minute walk. Even the Saturday racecourse farmers market is only 12 minutes away by foot. Nearest beach is 10 min away.
I have not used the sauna or the pool on this stay but I have used the small gym quite a few times. Thankfully it’s always quiet and I’m the only one there (it perhaps would only fit 2 people inside).
A great thing to do is morning walks along the cycle path- right outside the door!
I have done more in-depth reviews of Lanai Riverside apartment in my previous review posts.

Clean, quiet, and the room was better than expected. No issues at check-out, and staff were polite throughout.
