Peaceful family guesthouse

Very nice guesthouse inside the old city. Super friendly host family. Nice room, in a peaceful neighbourhood. Small bathroom. Highly recommended.

The location is downtown.

Five rooms from two air-conditioned bedrooms, breakfast included ,free Wi-Fi , beautiful city view.
There are additional paid services: washing machine.Transfer: from airport or train station, Ayaz Kala Fortress,Tuprak Kala, Kizil Kala, Muynak, Nukus, Bukhara.

A fully positive judgment

I stayed only one night in this guesthouse (as I traveled to Khiva by night train both to and from Samarkand); but one night was enough to make me feel comfortable.
On the ground floor there are the rooms of the host family (this is a private house: you leave your shoes at the entrance); breakfast is also served here and (on request) dinner; upstairs are the rooms (I have seen two of them), basic, but equipped with the essentials (private bathroom, wi-fi and air conditioning) and pleasantly furnished.
The price is in line with Uzbek guesthouses, despite being the house located in a rather fancy city like Khiva.
Basically, a fully positive judgment

Spartan and welcoming family run guest house

Nice location right in the centre of Khiva, alhtough a little tucked away and difficult to find at first. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. It doesn't appear on google maps yet but It's c;lose to the Arkanchi Hotel. The room was basic and spartan but comfortable enough. I think it could be cold in the winter.
