What a warm welcome and good food. Cozy homestay with nice garden.
Extremely friendly!!
Ideal as a stopover and to really eat locally.
The rooms look very neat with private bathroom and air conditioning which is really necessary in this region.

Van long family homestay great people.

This place was exceptional, the hosts were great and friendly, even inviting us for some lunch which was tasty Lam lot. We had the use of bikes to ride around, for the price of 28 dollars Australian a night you couldn't ask for more. The room was basic but clean and comfortable no TV but thats not a bad thing. If doing the boat trip around the nature reserve go early as it tends to get really busy we had the whole waterway to ourselves. The town is more like a village the people here were very friendly and inviting it was rice harvesting time so all the families were out helping.

Exceptional homestay experience

The most mind-blowing thing about this place is pest-control. No mosquitoes or flies or roaches, but you get to keep all the bees and dragonflies and birds who chirp at a comfortable rate and volume.
The food is homely (for a Vietnamese like me), filling, and satisfying in every way. The hosts ask us what food we want beforehand and shop for the ingredients early in the morning. I came with Huong on one such market trip and she does really pick only the best and freshest stuff.
The beddings are clean, not just smell clean, they smell like fresh sun-dried fabric with a light hint of fabric softener. No plastic bed linings, which is lovely. Bathroom is spacious, shampoo and bodywash are what you have at home, not the teeny tiny hostel bottles. I especially love the open closet thing. One thing to be improved has to be the lighting: the main light source is a tiny neon light that flickers during power surges. The room is well lit with all windows opened but at night, things a a bit dim for a card game.
The host are great, catering to your every need. The pet dog is cute as heck, soft and super cuddly. Not a licker by any means, all he wants are boops and head pats and belly rubs.
Also you can get a discount at a neighboring herbal soap shop/bath house where you can have a herbal bath, pick the herbs, mix and mold the soap bars, and bring home not just the soap but also a ton of herbal balms and shampoo and dental rubs.

I will come back here every chance I get, wonderfully helpful and friendly people. Generous with their time, helpful arranging side trips and dat outings. Big morning breakfasts. I’m a happy camperOne of the very best I have been in
