Perfect!

Love Z Hotels, also stayed in the Holborn one. Z Hotel Liverpool is in a great location, really close to the underground and Mathew Street (Cavern Club/Beatles Museum) so great for Beatles fans! Lots of souvenir shops around there. Lovely clean room with A/C. Can’t fault it, just wish there were more outside of London!

Small rooms, poor communication, rooms not cleaned daily and access to water restricted. Would not recommend

Terrible experience

Got told on arrival that the air conditioning in our room was broken. We got to the room and it was like walking into a sauna no window to open and a terrible little fan that was super weak and didn’t help at all. It was so hot and unbearable my girlfriend threw up in the morning from how stuffy it was. It was honestly a bit difficult to breathe at times. As compensation for no AC we were given an extra hour to check out. However, we ended up having to leave at the original time because of how unbearable it was. For £160 a night it’s simply not good enough.

Hi Ben, thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us. I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. Whilst we appreciate your frustration with the air conditioning issue, unfortunately, this was also out of our control, and our team did the best that they could to make your stay as comfortable and carefree as possible, by providing the fans, late check out etc that you mention whilst we awaited the arrival of the engineer. Sadly, you were visiting during a very prestigious and high profile event (the open), when prices are higher than average throughout the city, as you would no doubt expect. Many hotels across the country have been experiencing similar AC issues due to the unprecedented, record breaking heat wave, and we hope that we can welcome you back at some point in the future under cooler circumstances.
