Palazzo Tirso Weeks stay.
The rooms were good with very efficient aircon and well serviced and equipped. The lighting switches are complicated and take some working out! Beds were comfortable, shower was brilliant loads of storage - a digital safe and a small fridge/minibar.
The ciel restaurant is excellent for food - I’d recommend booking in advance if possible rather than turning up - although we were fitted in fairly easily when we did make a last minute decision to do so- because the location on the roof draws in non hotel guests. The food was fabulous. The views and sunsets sublime.
I rented a car from Hertz for some of my stay - very nearby - and the hotel facilitated parking it for me at the end of the day which was a great service- paid for daily - as city parking is at a premium.
We used the beach club - Albacharia on Poetta beach - which has an arrangement with the hotel to accommodate guests - sunloungers & Umbrellas can be booked via the hotel reception - was €60 for 3 of us for a whole day - Taxi there is about 20-25€ (there is no longer the transport mentioned on the hotel website) there is a nice restaurant and excellent service from the bar. It’s right on the waters edge and is a great location with plenty of shaded sofas/chairs for casual relaxation away from the sand too. I’d really recommend it.
Overall brilliant stay. Great staff. Great food. Great Hotel.

Perfect from start to finish
The rooms were impeccable, clean, quiet (a super plus) and absolutely large enough in our opinion. The evenings on the roof terrace more a little drink before dinner was superb - not least the sunset! The selection for breakfast was impeccable, and fresh eggs, coffee and tea were made as desired and as needed.
Another advantage was obvious location - close to the airport, close to the center, close to transportation, close to transportation and close to the ice bar Peter Pan (which we visited every day)
The beach Poetto is huge and beautiful. It is not within walking distance and you need to take a taxi or other transport. We took a taxi one day (25 euros), but quickly found out that we could take the bus directly to the beach for the price of about 4 euros each way. Tip: Download the bus Finder app, buy tickets in the app and validate with the qr code that you will find on all the buses (and there is a lot of control) the buses went all the time. If you do not have your own beach chairs, an alternative is to book a seat via your own beach clubs. The hotel has its own, but we had booked in advance via SAM Beach (which was super)
The hotel also provides strabismus if you ask in the reception! That's a plus too!
Here we will gladly return!

Also, no hot water in our room for 2 days, substandard for a nice hotel.
Valentina in the restaurant was excellent, friendly and deserves a raise!
