Great rooms, helpful host, ideal location

Stayed here for one night after a challenging journey to Sicily, and was impressed by many things. The rooms were all super clean and well presented, it feels both elegant and comfortable. The host was helpful at all times, offering practical advice around getting around town and places to check out, and making it easy to store our bags before our check-in, and the location couldn't be better as a base for exploring Catania, with many shops and restaurants in walking distance and a nearby metro station for those that wish to explore that way. When we arrived there was also a large and lively market taking place right in front of the property, definitely worth exploring if you happen to be staying here when it's on. I would say this property would best suit people that are adventurous and ready to explore everything that Catania has to offer.

Great accommodation in a top location with a beautiful view

The accommodation is right on the bustling Piazza Alberto, where a huge weekly market takes place almost every day.
The check-in was friendly and was done remotely. The B&B is super new and extremely well and modernly furnished. We liked it a lot. The room was cool and had a balcony overlooking the market square. We shared a bathroom with another room. The bathroom was also very new and modern with a huge rain shower and super bright lighting. There were some super tasty sweets as a welcome gift. The location is brilliant. Very close to bars, restaurants, supermarkets, sights and above all the great huge market. The windows facing the market square provide great protection from the noise from outside. But if you want to sleep with the window open like we did, you need earplugs. We were allowed to leave our luggage there for a while. If there is a free spot here, just book it. The view of the market from the balcony alone is great - the pure life of Bella Italia.
What could be better: we couldn't find any cutlery, and we could only open the apartment door with a key when we left. It could be dangerous, for example in an emergency. The air conditioning on the balcony was quite noisy. We had turned the air conditioning off ourselves. It was taken care of, but it didn't improve. But it's not a big deal, as it was pretty loud on the site anyway. If the other guests with whom you share the bathroom were tidier/cleaner/more considerate, it couldn't be much better.
We would love to stay there again. Overall, it was definitely full marks!
