If there were 10 stars, he'd deserve them all.
Garibaldi Blu is not just any hotel: it is a place with a decisive, elegant and unconventional style. A different hotel, not for everyone — but because of this extraordinary. Each room is cared for in every detail, with a refined design that combines design and modernity in a surprising way. You can breathe an intimate, refined, almost theatrical atmosphere, which makes your stay an experience.
The staff was simply impeccable: attentive, professional, always smiling and ready to make every moment special.
I celebrated my 50th birthday and they gave me a gift of prosecco with a greeting card that I will cherish with affection, an unexpected and delicate gesture that really excited me. Small details that make a big difference and demonstrate authentic care for the guest.
The location is perfect for experiencing Florence on foot, 3 minutes from the station but strategic for getting around Florence and its wonders.
I recommend the Garibaldi Blu to those looking for something special, to those who love refined environments and experiences that leave their mark. For me it was not just a stay, but a precious memory that I will always carry with me.
If there were 10 stars it would deserve them all.

A mini atomic bunker, not a room.
Nonexistent Wi-Fi, nonexistent light in the wardrobe, bed that shifts as soon as you lean against the headboard, and water-damaged wood in the mini bathroom.
I think this is the worst hotel experience of my life.

Fabulous Hotel
Absolutely beautiful room with vaulted ceiling that had been lovingly decorated with renaissance frescos giving it a very classy feeling. The rest of the hotel is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with some quirky additions like the life size super hero mannequins which sound like they should be naff but are actually very in keeping.
All the staff from our lovely chamber maid to the hotel manager were a credit to the place. All so happy, helpful and available to assist with any questions or problems.
Breakfast was fresh daily with plenty of choice for all preferences.
The only issue we had was some work being done on the building next door which started at 8am. Not really an issue to us as we were up and out around them anyway, and they were usually finished by the afternoon.
A couple of suggestions for the hotel management for improvement
1/ More drawer storage required in both the room and the bathroom. Only one small drawer available for clothing etc in the room and nothing in the bathroom to keep toiletries etc.
2/ fix the bed to the wall as if you were in bed watching tv or reading and resting on the headboard the bed would slide away from the wall.
These things did not detract however from an overall fabulous stay. Well done Garibaldi Blu
