Excellent b&b located in a quiet place not far from the centre

Beautiful B&B, rooms furnished with taste and simplicity. The owners of the property were very kind and helpful. It is located in a very quiet area and not far from the center. Based on my short but positive experience, I can certainly recommend it to everyone.

A disaster across the board

As soon as we arrived in the room we immediately noticed in several places lacking plaster and peeling from the humidity, the day was hot and we immediately activated the air conditioner which, however, even bringing it to maximum power could not cool the room, we immediately contacted the property but despite several messages we did not receive a response or assistance thus remaining warm all the time.
Accessing the kitchen upstairs the temperature was even higher and in this case there was only a ventilated king moved hot air we sat down to the table to consume the food we brought and we found the lace and dirty wooden placemats of all kinds of food, raising them to move them under there were food residues!
Everything really regrettable and not suitable for the high room price (100€) for a B&B.
Never again!!!!!

Avoid this rip off

Due to a mix up in dates we arrived late to check in only to find the owner had cancelled the whole booking leaving us nowhere to go, furthermore, although we were standing outside the property and he had the available rooms he refused to honour the rest of our stay. He also refused to refund any of our money. He was rude and arrogant and cared nothing that we had been travelling all day to get there.
The area around the property looks like a war zone, filthy and strewn with rubbish, I didn’t like losing my money but was quite glad we didn’t have to stay there in the end.
Hotels.com tried to get me a refund but he pretended he could not speak English (his English was very good) and dragged it out for two days before finally stating there would be no refund. Now my stay on Sicily is marred by knowing I had to pay twice for accommodation, I will not be returning.
I only gave him one star because I had to give something!

You didn't arrive late for check-in, you arrived the next day...
You have booked on Hotels belonging to Expedia (check-in 08/25/2019), your reservation reported as a missed booking at 10.30am on 08/26/2019 as I waited for you until at 23:00 on 08/25/2019 and you called me at 13:00 on 08/26/2019 and I also advised you to let me contact you by Expedia to solve the problem, since I couldn't do it.
Now you can do something, you put your ridiculous English humor in your bag and go back to being a jester by the queen, here you are in Sicily where "respect is measured, who has it is respected".

Excellent visit to Etna

We did the visit of Etna with Luca because of a friend recomendation. It was very nice. Luca was very friendly and they does only private tours to personalize the visit. He did the tour through different way and paths that the agencies should do to show us differents things and peculiarities of the volcan. His explications were very nice and interesting. He didn't mind to expend more time with us if it was neccesary to do the tour well. We fisnished the day very happy with him and I recommend them 100x100

Family affair!!!

Nice room and a lovely organized courtyard with a kiosk for a tasty breakfast! Quality "green" products (jams,cheese...) from the family house. A particularly friendly owner, honest and helpful! Special offer not only of brochures but also of books (!) about Catania and Etna's flora and fauna.
I felt sad that I could not - in the absence of time - to do the interest excursion to the sea suggested to me by Luca. The next time fellow!
Parking in the front of the B&B in the quiet small street absolutely safe and Nicolosi in breath distance!

I recommend this accommodation!
