Real farm holidays
vineyards, olive trees, farms and animals... in short, surrounded by nature.
The property looks beautiful, just a country house.
Also good service and menu "simple" and homemade, typical Piedmontese dishes, I found the appetizers and especially the first very good.
Very good healthy and organic wine made by them.
Also good relationship
price/quality.

Biodynamic brilliance
Cats and (huge!) dogs and geese walk about. All the workers sit together at the long table and share bread, wine and home-grown vegetables.
It is a bit messy, but that is part of the beauty of life in the countryside.
Bellotti is well respected within the world of natural wine. There is a huge variety of wine at Cascina degli Ulivi. Most are white and made from the Cortese grape. Some are simple and very quaffable. Some are very deep and complex.
I definitely recommend a tour of the vineyards and a tasting of the wines. Especially if you are open to new experiences in terms of what wine can be.
The combination of the biodynamic food and wine both from the same place is great. You could never achieve such a brilliant match at any big city fancy restaurant far removed from the earth that the products grow out of.
Take a big breath of air. Enjoy the products and the lifestyle and the passion from these lovely people at Cascina degli Ulivi invite you to partake in.

Consigliato solo se avete poche esigenze, poca fame e tanti soldi da spendere
Antipasto e primo solo di verdura e un secondo con non più di 50 gr di carne di maiale. Per finire un piccolissimo dolce.
Qualità normale, quantità scarsa.
Buono il vino.
Sporcizia notevole, ciuffi di peli di animali intorno ai tavoli dalla zona ristorazione esterna, giardino trascurato, sala da pranzo interna disordinata e sporca.
Accoglienza fredda, nessuna spiegazione dei piatti, né disponibilità a proporre alternative al menù imposto.
Per esempio i formaggi che si vedono nelle foto non c' erano.
Nessuna accoglienza né un " grazie" a fine serata.
Notevole e molto caro il conto, 4 verdurine, un pugno di riso, 50 grammi di carne e un biscottino, due bottiglie di vino ( eravamo in 6) e una di acqua naturale dell' acquedotto 50 euro a testa .
Decisamente troppo!
