Rudeness, lack of professionalism, shameful experience
I intended to book directly at the property. Calling, initially I was told that it was not the right time and that I should call back half an hour later: this already seemed absurd to me. Subsequently, I was provided with a WhatsApp number to proceed with the booking. I sent the requested documents and the lady confirmed to me that she had blocked the room, confirming that payment would be made directly at the property.
Too bad that, once I arrived, there was no record of the reservation. The even more absurd thing was the attitude received: instead of trying to understand what had happened and find a solution, I was practically made out to be someone who had made up the reservation. I had to show the screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation to prove what had been agreed upon.
Beyond the error, which can happen, what I find unacceptable is the way I was treated: with total superficiality, lack of manners and without the slightest interest in a customer. The worst thing was precisely the total inability to find a solution after having made a mistake in managing the reservation.
I expected professionalism and availability, I found quite the opposite.
I absolutely do not recommend this property. Rude, ill-mannered and, above all, incapable of managing a problem caused by their own communication.

Fresh and local food, very good and typical of Sicily.

Don't object!
This time I was with my family, I must say that everything was going well, as always great food and availability. At the end of the stay , having had the bill , I ask for an explanation of the cost of lunch the day before and simply report that for me it had been a bit too expensive, compared to Sunday lunch and that there was no proportion , simply this . From here came the worst, an attitude that I did not know, but that if I go behind with reviews emerges out of other people. I was verbally assaulted, judged, especially by one of his daughters who was confident but still inexperienced and gave her best, saying everything.
I despair so much of what happened, both for the owners who had always been kind, but evidently do not accept objections, but especially for my family that day was gathered for my mom's birthday.
