Kindness is not enough
As soon as we entered the room we found several problems: the window handle was broken and it could not be opened (as the photos show), the trash can was still full of garbage, there was sand and seashells in the drawers, and the phone was visibly dirty.
We reported everything to the front desk, which proved to be understanding and courteous. However, it does not seem to be a simple oversight, but a general problem. Our friends, who were staying at the same hotel that same weekend, also had similar problems: a stuck window shutter and a damaged shower, also documented with photos in this case.
It's a shame, because the breakfast was varied and good and the staff deserves a positive review. If the property invested more in maintenance and cleaning, the experience would be much better.

Rimin plaza hotel review
Fairly clean, nice breakfast room, the breakfast was a bit poor.
The Thomas restaurant is excellent.
Would I go back? No thanks....

A disappointing 4-star hotel
Furthermore, no response from the reception when we had a need regarding the air conditioner; it was not night but just 11:30 PM, the reception was not available even when calling the hotel from our cell phone!!!!!!!!

It is not a 4-star hotel
Cramped spaces, poorly managed, dated furniture, small television hidden behind the wardrobe. Impossibility of adjusting the air conditioning from the room, it was turned on or off upon request at the reception where you had to go in person since the telephone switchboard was not working. The safe was installed for us 2 days before the end of the stay but without batteries

If you want to go back to the 70s..
It would take very little to redevelop it to 4 stars, but as it is, it can only be considered a 2-star hotel.
