Warm hosts, breathtaking views, and excellent cuisine.

I spent three wonderful days at the Albergo Castello and felt comfortable from the very first moment.
Fabrizio and Paolo are exceptionally warm hosts. The atmosphere is familial and friendly, while also respecting the guests' privacy. My little Jack Russell, Willi, was also warmly welcomed, which was a big plus for me.
Although my room did not have a balcony, it did have a large Italian window with a charming view over the rooftops of Tignale all the way to Lake Garda. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the room was cleaned very carefully every day. The bathroom was rather small, but functional and clean. Even small details like shampoo samples, a shower cap, a hairdryer, and a safe were provided.
The breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and offered a little bit of everything: coffee, juices, cheese, cold cuts, muesli, fruit, vegetables, and sweet treats.
I would especially like to highlight the restaurant. The quality of the food and the value for money were excellent. In fact, it was so good that I hardly had a reason to eat out.
Anyone looking for an authentic, warmly run accommodation with beautiful views, very good cuisine, and genuine Italian hospitality is in the right place here.
I would be very happy to return.

Small and fine hotel with a lot of heart and atmosphere

We spent a wonderful holiday week here in the summer of 2025. The entire team around the owners Fabrizio and Paolo Berlanda turns the walls, some 1,200 years old, into a house with a lot of heart and atmosphere. Our room, which like some others was located in the immediately adjacent house, was modern equipped, really very clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The restaurant with a nice terrace offers excellent food and drinks and very friendly Service at fair prices. The breakfast buffet was very good. After a hike in the surrounding mountains, the sauna in the wellness area, which is lovingly furnished within the old walls, is recommended. I can fully recommend the Albergo Castello and will definitely come back.

Like at home

A real joy to stay at the Castle guests of Fabrizio and Marianna, two very nice hoteliers and at the same time masters of life. The energy of their joyful laughter is priceless. Everything else perfect: cleanliness, location, staff.
We will return

A perfect get away

The owners of the hotel were really nice and friendly. They made our stay more pleasant. The view from the room was amazing, both in the morning and even at night. Dinner was cooked to perfection every day. Thanks for everything!

Lovely little hotel in a very pretty village

Hotel Castello is a lovely little get away hotel, in a very pretty village in the hills above Lake Garda. the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the owners are so very helpful and friendly. The spa is so welcome after a day's walking in the mountains. We took the half board option and the food was very good.
Highly recommended - worth the drive up the mountain roads.
