Good if you have a car otherwise it has a distance to reach the MRT station. All staffs are polite and friendly. Hotel room is clean and spacious

Platinum member treated like dirt.
First off, hotel didn't care that I've been a diamond member, they generally treated me with disdain. A generous interpretation would be that staff seems underpaid and overworked - or perhaps they don't care. The main issue is this hotel management will nickel and dime you over every little thing, and then you have to fight them to get it back . Its almost as if they are intentionally trying to slip one by you, hoping travelers won't look at the bill. This is a rather poor management practice in the long run. Yes they will get away with some of their extra charges b/c people will be too busy to check, but this is poor customer service, and pretty sketchy IMO. If you don't have time to deal with this moneygrubbing, I do not recommend. I will not be back, it's not worth my time. Management is just dishonest.

I also want to look into how our team engaged with you, as the disdain you felt is not the standard we hold ourselves to, regardless of how busy or short-staffed we may be at times. That’s on us to fix, not something guests should have to absorb.

Not bad, but not great.
Location was convenient [8-10min walk to Jiannan Road Metro; 5min walk to Miramar Mall].
Check-in: efficient, ihg status acknowledged, no complimentary upgrade for diamond, staff reasonably friendly.
Elevators: we didn't have to wait for long time.
Breakfast: we had it once, it was typical breakfast. We decided it was better to eat outside.
Room: quiet, spacious enough for us, clean, safe deposit box, adequate hangers, bed comfortable, coffee + tea, small fridge. Complimentary 2 bottles of water for us. Overall, not luxurious but good enough for us.
Lobby, modern but not spacious enough.
Toilet: Stand shower, hair dryer, one medium-sized but deep sink. The heated toilet seat and water bidet [button-operated] wow, very good.
Check-out: smooth
Will we return? Yes.

Great modern hotel near Taipei Miramar
We stayed here for 10 days. Great experience with fantastic service. Reception staff are friendly and proactive, and can answer questions or arrange a cab or transport to famous sightseeing spots. Rooms were modern and engineered to be super quiet. There is a small gym on the 9th floor I used nearly every day. Location is convenient for hopping on the subway system or for shopping (the Miramar mall and ferris wheel is about a 5 minute walk away) or to get to Songshan airport, which is two subway stops away.
We didn't try the restaurant but there was a very intriguing western-style food court called Chun place run independently off the first floor. Miramar also has a food court, but if you are looking for local Taiwan food, on the other side of the subway overpass about a 10 minute walk away is a famous breakfast and bun eatery called Lai Lai (來來豆漿) as well as other restaurants. Walk a little further and there are dozens of local places in and around the Xihu MRT station.
We will be back. This is our new favorite Taipei hotel.

Enjoyed the daily international buffet breakfast so much that I begin to miss after I returned home . The room is modern n clean .
